    Which duo?
    A) Onana+Stones
    B) Pickford+Shaw

With A I will probably need to replace Stones after he gets benched for 2 matches in a row cause Pep... that's why I'm not completely sold on him.

I'm down to my final to dilemmas.

    1) Ortega or Areola for backup GK.
    2) Richarlison or Trossard for punt £7.0m mid pick.

I've punted on Ortega. With my 'main' keeper being Steele (until Sanchez gets Chelsea's gloves) there's a tiny chance i'll have no keeper this GW.

I'm thinking Liverpool get 3 or so, probably concede similar, so maybe Liverpool 3-1 or 3-2, Week 1 in the other leagues should offer insight into goal scoring trends, going to be a record breaking season it seems with the new pace of game and time wasting changes as well as the added time being huge.

Shaw on some set pieces and higher upside potential.
Stones better defensive fixtures but a rotation threat?

Don't need to have 2 or 3 Arsenal attackers. Picking 1 good attacker from different teams is a better spread just incase Arsenal just score 1, it is an afternoon match after all. Although u have doubled up on Brighton attack

If you want a second ARS and Bruno then get rid of Salah. That's the major decision facing most managers to start this season. You can't have them all!

Doubling up on Arsenal and united attackers is gonna backfire after a 1-0 victory for Arsenal and 0-0 united draw.

Motomo has really nice fixtures for the first 3. Especially that Wolves game. He's my preference. But loading up on Brighton might make it tricky to offload when the fixtures turn. So depends on your strategy.

Is it better to go with a different 4.5 ST to Mubama? I know he might get decent minutes but he could also be rooted to the bench and drop in price because he is so high owned. Better to just go for a low owned non-playing 4.5 to not drop team value and stick him 3rd bench?

It could work out. I've gone with Bruno myself. Watching United in pre-season I think there is a good chance that Shaw plays more defensive now almost as a third center back while the right back goes forward more. This would also allow Mount and Bruno to get forward a bit more.

It looked like it from the games I watched. Shaw is still a good pick, but Dalot was at times right in the box while Shaw got nowhere near the box all pre-season.

Anyone considering a GW1 BB with an early-ish wildcard (i.e. GW8) to try and get a jump on everyone?

Thinking of something wild like a Crystal Palace defensive triple up to make the most of the Sheffield United game to make up my bench, high-risk, high-reward.

What's a good amount of points from your benched players? 18?

Yes definitely considering it. The bench is usually at its strongest in GW 1. I normally have loads on my bench early on but rarely get much in the DGWs. My current draft has a bench of Turner, Pedro Mbueno and Diaby.

This is the question EVERYONE has been asking, just depends if you want Salah mate. Im on B

      Depends on timescales

      Watkins vs Pedro - Pedro could keep up or even outscore Watkins over first 3 given easy fixtures;

Salah vs Bruno - Salah for first 2 at least, captain option gw 2, Kane swap option gw 3

Marti vs Eze : this is the problem, better if you could find the 1.5m elsewhere and retain Marti for opening fixtures

Salah option also allows option to downgrade and change any 2 players on team in gw 3

    Many doubts for the beginning...

    GK1 Onana or Pickford?
    GK2 Turner or Areola?

    DEF Shaw or James?

    MID Martinelli or Odegaard?
    MID Richarlison or Maddison?

    Opinions, advice...

    I'm currently on...

    A) Chilwell - but not sure whether to go with James ... is James slightly more injuury prone?
    B) Mitoma - but not sure whether to go with Mbeumo ... Mitoma better GW1 fixture
    C) Gabriel - but not sure whether to go with Saliba ... everyone has Gabriel
    D) Martinelli - but not sure whether to go with a risky Jota pick as i have no Liverpool coverage?

    Which would you pick please?

Thank you & good luck for GW1

Eze gets more points than Mitoma
Martinelli 0.5m cheaper but think Ødegaard gets more points

    My decision is literally just:

    A. Salah - Mbeumo - Joao Pedro

    B. Bruno - Martinelli - Watkins

Really tricky... am currently on A but swaying back towards B...

But play have Bruno GW1 then do Bruno > Salah GW2

Definitely a decision I've made at some point. But when I crunched the numbers, it favoured A.

Assumptions: I gave Martinelli 75 xMins, gave Toney's Pen xG to Mbeumo, and gave Pedro a pessimistic 3.5 ppg (March, Mitoma, Gross all above 4.0)

Buendia's injury will probably hurt Watkins too. Didn't factor that.

It's doing my head in. I think it's the fixtures of Arsenal and Man Utd that are getting in my head. Those home fixtures are just perfect...
