The pre-deadline Members Videos make a belated return for 2023/24 ahead of Gameweek 4.

It’s Scoutcast meets FPL BlackBox this time as Andy North and Az co-host this exclusive stream for Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout.

The pair have been chatting over on our YouTube channel about their own Gameweek 4 teams and transfers.

Midfielders were unsurprisingly high on the agenda, while the pair also discuss the best time to make transfers.

The stream is watchable via the embedded video below.

Not sure about Walker. Personally I would like a Brentford Defender/GK.

West Ham's fixtures are tricky just now. I'd hold off on getting Bowen until later. Maybe Bruno instead?

    4. Eze Really?

      All god bar Walker IMO.
Think about Sterling. I know all the reasons for getting him but other choices and it might be an idea to keep a Chelsea spot open. It is hard though considering form and recency bias.

Very iffy about having Jackson to be honest. Think he will be one of the flops this season but he could prove me wrong. If he blanks this weekend, I will be shifting him.

I haven't bought him and don't plan to. Don't think he has much goals in him. Great fixtures though and feck all striker options so worth a punt

Yes, fixtures are good. Let's see how it pans out.

I'm surprised people are watching him and coming out with this opinion in honesty.

I've watched Chelsea strikers years after years and there's been plenty of disappointments in there. Jackson leaves me with a good feeling watching how and where he plays every time (so far).

He's a goal threat, great strike in him, and he will also get you assists because he's quick and smart with his lay-offs. Also very adept at holding up the ball & still bang his man.

He's not going to get Haaland numbers, but at least until he's less nailed (definitely not the sort term) he will tick over.

I don't particularly understsnd shifting him ahead of BOU in a bank of green fixtures.

If you have someone like Watkins this week however, I wouldn't necessarily sell for Jackson since he's also good.

Fully agree. With no sign that Chelsea are going to bring in another striker in the next 24, he's nailed in the Chelsea side and my FPL Starting XI.

Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan. He's a very good player. Intelligent, efficient on the ball, selfless, great movement and link up play. All the subtle stuff you can't teach. Just isn't the killer instinct type of goal scorer you want for fpl. Similar to Watkins in a lot of ways. Once Chelsea become more of a cohesive team his output will increase for goals and assists but for now they are still a work in progress

Which defender should I sell first as I want to make sure I have at least 3 starting defenders!

Akanji or Gabriel? (5th one is out as well)And

And who would you bring in? Udogie, Romero, Disasi, Gusto, another city defender etc… thanks guys.

Estu and Chilwell. And a 4.0 bench warmer.

Personally I'd go Gabriel to Udogie who seems nailed and has good fixtures. Akanji might come back into the City team when he is 100%, but for whatever reason Gabriel is not starting.

Yeah thanks man. I am sure something is going on between him and Arteta.
Considered to sell the bench warmer but that extra 0.8 could be useful later i suppose.

      Of those 2 Gabriel
He might play this weekend but not guarantee going forward
Akanji was just ill last week so might play
Dias, Udogie or an early move for Trippier depending on budget

Thanks man I’m thinking the same thing. If I also do Odegaard - Maddison (not sure yet), I may end up getting two Spurs players in this week. Which seems to be ok.

I suspect the Spuds defence will turn out to be what we expected from Angeball. My GK rotation is suspect in Johnstone and Steele. I'm going with J this week and will use a transfer to bring in Leno next.

I wanted to get it over and done with this week. Vicario has two nice fixtures and I think Spurs are looking decent at the back. Won't be doubling up on their defence though.

    Chilwell Saliba Estu Anderson Kabore
Playing Chilwell and Anderson. Not sure on third, so

    C A and B and bench Mitoma.

    1. Kingy109

      A
You'd need an Udogie clean sheet to make up for the hit

I'd personally go A but that's because I've a personal dislike so very poor FPL rationale
The biggest minutes risk there by far is Foden.
Sterling could be a flash in the pan, Chelsea aren't the finished article
      One of those probably.

    Maddo
    Foden
    Sterling

I assume this is the preferred order of preference for the next few games? Maddo the most reliable and essential out of the 3 imo. Foden the most likely to explode. Sterling looking good but can be really be trusted?

So many early transfers ahead of deadline day, so annoying! Wanted to transfer in Antonio but becomes not worth it at 6.1 Vs the 6m, you know it's randoms when you looking at differentials like that. Praying he doesn't do what I expect at Luton and SHU

    1. Arteta
      • 10 Years
      3 years, 3 days ago

Let me get this straight. You don't want to buy a player anymore because he is 0.1 more expensive than yesterday? It makes absolutely no sense to me. If you expect someone to do well, just get them, regardless of price.

      1. The Pretender
        • 11 Years

Could not agree more - 0.1 should not change your plans this year. TV means so much less than normal with the midfield the way it is. If you like Antonio as a differential to Watkins, Jackson, Alvarez and Wissa - do it this week when they have the matchup. After this fixtures turn.

      2. JammySprat
