Just logged in to FPL and my auto subs haven't happened, and my VC hasn't earned my C points. Nothing in the tables to say the game is still updating. Is there a lag?

FPL is still waiting on the Bournemouth v Luton game decision, honestly would rather any decision more than this pointless waiting.

Because it's Christmas week there was a poll on here...

and it's been decided to donate all those auto sub points to teams with a rank of 3-4 millon.

Would be natural that he gets another game to reward his good job and to sharpen Areola. But think there will be rotation between the two moving forward and Fabianski is 38.

Why is everyone so bothered if the game is scrapped? The only widely owned player is Solanke, he's about 44% EO so half of us are in the same boat. You're probably getting a 2 point sub in for him so 50% of people are losing out on 4 points. The overall impact is negligible.

    1. Drumandbaines123
      • 5 Years
      2 years, 2 months ago

Lots of us have injured/suspended players on the bench so nothing to come on so the impact of a voided match is at least 6 points. Plus the hit to get him in. Plus the 3 bonus he was very likely to get and potential for further returns so for people like me it's at least a 13 point swing which is significant.

      1. Gegenpress

VERY debatable travenier could have scored a winner and taken all the bonus? Solanke xould have also got a yellow.

More chance of him picking up another return than a card IMO. Personally I think they should compromise on the current 6 points without bonus and everyone can then move on.

      1. Gegenpress
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 2 months ago

Next we’ll be asking for them to compromise and give 1.5 points for someone who assists the assister

Or if a player gets injured in a non PL game to give us a free transfer to replace him.

Why complicate matters? The game was not played, the game was not completed, the game does not count in the actual league. Why should it count in FPL? Oh because you own Solanke??

What about Travenier owners for eg could have snatched all bonus and a winner before the end of the game IF IT WAS COMPLETED

If a player would have got a red card early in the game and it was abandoned would that red still count and he gets a ban? If so the goal should still stand.

Tbh I don't even think his goal will be counted for golden boot once the fixture has been made void and a rematch date set. The events of that particular rematch will be what counts for the league, the history books and (hopefully) FPL too as it is based on real matches that affect the actual premier league.

Took a hit to get him and captained him with salah vc and darwin sub which makes a 14 point difference...some get 6-9 points off the bench so in the end could be a 20+ difference

Hi ... Looking at Chelsea and their good fixtures. What do you think about Nkunku?

Should we expect him to starting alone upfront or playing together with Jackson?

Never seen him play and don't know which role he operates.

    1. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years
      2 years, 2 months ago

In preseason he was mostly used as the 10, and to me he seems such a huge upgrade on Gallagher in that role. Also linked up pretty nicely with Jackson, so I'd expect:
      Palmer Nkunku Sterling
      Jackson

      1. NATSTER
        • 15 Years
        2 years, 2 months ago

Umm.. The No.10 is where Palmer is mainly operated, right?

I think Gallagher is more CM and will be rotated with Enzo and Caicedo.

Mundryk Palmer Nkunku Sterling could be rotated for 3 spots if we believe Jackson is the main striker.

Interesting to see how Chelsea will line-up in the mid week cup game.

          • 4 Years

Palmer has been switching between RW/10 - covered recent Gallagher's suspension. Enzo/Caicedo is the double pivot; Gallagher isn't really good there

Captain this week I think will sit with Watkins for once.

    Dubravka
    Porro | Lascelles | Saliba
    Saka | Salah | Bowen | Son | Gordon
    Watkins | Solanke

    Areola, Archer, Beyer Gusto

Don't think Dubravka is a good idea as it seems like Newcastle are looking to recruit. Leno/Neto/Martinez are the only 3 GKs I like at the moment

I think the latest is they won't look to sign a new GK and Dubravka will remain the starter
Otherwise Leno pretty interesting - decent fixtures and usually good on bonus

Think from Twitter, may be BS
Personally would be surprised if they went for Ramsdale

Ah ok. I thought the De Gea stuff was BS but then saw a link last week that they were looking for replacements (don't have it to hand though unfortunately); did coincide with the Dub injury scare though

I havent seen any news since last week after seeing Dubra carrying a slight injury. They were linked with Ramsdale. Is that nonsense then?

Yeah its an odd one though. On paper/stats they don't seem too bad but then you watch the Chelsea / Bournemouth game & wonder how could I even consider investing in this defence. And then they shut out Bayern & Pool. I'm too confused now

He's a decent keeper doing well right now. If Johnstone gets back in when he's fit will probably move one for a 4m ish keeper depending on budget.

Probably look at a cheaper GK combo - Pickford, Neto and Leno. I have not looked at GK rotation

I've had Raya a while & I actually want out. Really poor option for save pts, which I probably should have foreseen tbh, but also he just doesn't look the same as last season - dont know if its just a confidence thing but suddenly his handling/passing makes me nervous every single game. Considering selling for Leno who at least gets 3s when he concedes and megahauls with CS (2 BPS even in a 5-0 is just brilliant)

Hmm maybe. Just feel like if I get Dubravka locked as the 2nd keeper I'd want another keeper with good fixtures in 20 and 21 where Dubravka plays Pool and City

Is anyone here, clued up on Newcastle? I have Livramento. I wasnt expecting Burn to be back till january. Is Livramento going to be back to being benched/rotated or does his form mean he will continue at LB?

He’s been playing well so personally I think the LB spot is his to lose, it’s be very unfair if he was dropped. Plus Burn is 31 so Livra is the long term choice so I think Eddie would want to phase Burn out. I imagine there will be rotation though

Lascelles and Schar are tired and pretty much limp off every game, rotation will be heavy now we have Botman and Burn coming back. bit of a mine field. Burn can play CB if Schar is confirmed out and its too early for Botman.

    A) Cash to Trippier (will price me out of Solanke back to Haaland without a hit)
    B) Cash to Colwill
    C) Save FT and bench Cash (play Porro, Gabriel and Tsimi)

Anybody know how long Maguire will be out for? I am debating his replacement but only have 4.3m so had a quick look at Everton. Last match Keane and Godfrey both played. Are either of these likely to keep their spots? Any other suggestions for a 4.3m defender? Can’t be Newcastle.

Baldy said he was out for a "few games" in the last presser I believe. Slim pickings at 4.3 and under in defence at the moment.

Yeah I’m struggling. If it were not December I would just wait it out but I need the bench for rotation especially when Livramento may lose his place. Equally he may not but this is why I want a playing bench in December
