I'm going to talk myself into a -8 before I know it.

If you have Archer, and the money to get Haaland in the bank, and you get the nod he plays, you would take the hit wouldn't you?

Very unlikely you will know before the deadline. TBH, Archer against a seriously depleted West Ham could be a very good shout. I'm actually considering bringing in McAtee this week for a crocked Anderson.

-8 or WC. Not edifying options.

I have Salah Haaland TAA Semenyo Kabore Bowen all out

Still undecided either a -4 and hope Haaland gets some minutes of the bench or a -8/FH

I think WC will be useful further down the line

No highly owned Son, Salah, possibly Haaland, Bowen, Trent, no stand out captain, hits flying because teams are at breaking point with stripped down benches that won’t pick up the slack, Watkins & Saka aside, there’s no real dangerous player not to own due to ownership.

If you had a second FH, this would be the week to use it, nailing this week could be epic.

I’ve already got Bowen in early. May play the FH due to what you say above and to compensate. What’s the ideal FH team?

Best move here? 2FT and £5.4m ITB.

Thinking Son to Foden and roll the other FT. Gives exact cash to do Alvarez/Solanke to Haaland in GW22.

    Areola
    Gabriel - Saliba - Porro
    Saka (c) - Palmer (vc) - Gordon - Son
    Alvarez - Watkins - Solanke

    Bench: Dubravka; Konsa, Branthwaite, Salah

I’m not sure, depends on how much of a gambler you are.

He played at the weekend, will have a full weeks training, they have Newcastle & then they have their two week winter break, very much doubt he needs 3 weeks to recover from playing 30 mins so you just have to risk how many mins he plays.

It’s rare that a player coming back from injury who they are trying to build up plays less mins than the previous game.

    Thoughts?

Anyone else thinking of taking a punt on Doughty? He seems to be doing really well with a great xGI lately against fairly tough opponents. This also happens to be a season where clean sheets are hard to come by. On the other hand Estupinan seems to be more popular while being injury-prone, the team not keeping cleans and his xGI a fraction of Doughty's.

Who would you be getting and why?

Don't know what you mean about xGI. Estupiñan 2.43 from 630mins; Doughty 3.00 from 1318mins

      1. C0YS
        • 9 Years

Looking more than trajectory than season. Doughty's last 5 average out to 0.23 xGI per game, Estupinan is at 0.045 xGI per game since being back.

Also his overall number is heavily skewed by the 0.97 in GW1.

    Anyone got it worse?

TAA Salah Bowen Kabore Semenyo Haaland - all out with quite a bit of value tied up in Bowen and Salah and Trent too

Potential for FH? Or if positive Haaland news even if he’s going to be on the bench and get 20 mins might just do a -4

I think the FH option is pretty intriguing tbh - i'm more or less in same boat.

TAA / Salah / Bowen / Kabore / Son - quite a lot of value tied up in Salah and Son in particular as well.

Like the idea of FH to bide time and see how things shape up going into 22.... if one free-hits, do we still accumulate the week's transfer as unused?
