Fantasy Champions League Now Open

As many of you have already noticed, the official UEFA Champions League Fantasy game is now up and running. With Matchday 1 still 10 days away, the current break in domestic action gives us the perfect excuse to start assessing the fixtures and assembling our 15-man squads before the big kick-off:
Matchday 1 gets underway on Tuesday September 18 and the first night’s action hands City a trip to the Bernabeu to face Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid, while Arsenal are also on the travels, with Olivier Giroud returning to face his previous employers, Montpellier. Chelsea get their defence up and running the following evening with a home clash against Juventus, while United welcome Galatasaray to Old Trafford.
Once again, we shall be offering coverage across the Matchdays for those in the community who plan on participating. At the moment, we’re also considering the possibility of running with another Champions League game in conjunction but for now, here’s the official Scout League code for the UEFA Fantasy game:

Your defence is a bit weird. Coentrao plays as often as he doesn’t, Malaga and Porto are risky. Lichtensteiner is a good choice.
It seems all of it is caused by the mighty attack duo – Messi and RVP (Villa’s comeback might make the first one less appealing). If you keep it that way, there’s not much to change. You can switch around ~4m fillers and bargains (look up Zenit and Ajax players).
All in all – get a cheaper GK to boost some other formations – defence or midfield; reconsider Song (him or Busquets? Your choice), Martinez (too expensive for a DM), Boateng.
As for the website, it’s damn slow, especially when it loads all the players on the transfer page or the player finder.
