The ScoutCast – Episode 202 – Delirious

Hands up, this ScoutCast is a bit scruffy.

Signed off work and delirious with man flu, we had to coax Granville to keep him from his sick bed. Fortunately, the fact he had a decent Gameweek helped persuade him.

However, he did insist on an early kick-off, with no pre-match warm-up. So Jonty and I were ill-prepared and it also meant that, head frazzled by a Lemsip overdose, Granville forgot to lock his children in the cupboard before we started.

Imagine the horror when they wandered in to hear Granville gloating about Yannick Bolasie.

Of course, you don’t have to imagine – you can join Jonty and myself as we risk contracting Granville’s affliction in order to talk about Fantasy Football for an hour.

Steered by another round of community questions, we also dip into Stoke assets, the captaincy, attacking defenders and, inevitably, with his transfers out stats climbing quicker than Granville’s temperature, we discuss Aguero’s fading star.

If you can bear to brave the chaos of this latest germ-ridden episode, then you can view the Google Hangout version, first published on our YouTube channel, in the second player below.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for news on future live episodes.

You can restrict your sensory experience of Granville’s cold to just audio by clicking here or streaming using the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What are the chances of a Walcott cameo if he's doesn't start

    Play Wally or Capoue ?

Even if Walcott comes on for a 1 point cameo, that's only 1 less point than Capoue will probably get.

You have sufficient Arsenal cover in Kosc and Sanch. Replace with Firmino/Lallana I'd say!

Bloody Walcott, knew I'd be regretting it last week.

Is it the general consensus that he needs to go? Or have Capoue first on bench ready to replace him?

Planning on a straight swap, Theo for Oxlade...

    Is that completely ridiculous?

Question: is absolutely mental to play a 5-2-3 rather than sell Theo and buy him back in a few weeks for a loss?

    Gomes (Pickford)
    Valencia Smith Bellerin Holebas Walker
    Firmino Capoue (Coquelin,Fletcher)
    Kun-Kaku-Costa

Walker>Mee/similar cheaper defender next week to upgrade Coquelin/Fletcher for Redmond/Lallana/Allen/Bolasie/anybody who's not Coquelin or Fletcher...

Exactly this. I must say though, what were you thinking with Coquelin, Fletcher & Capoue in the same midfield!!

I have watched just 1 match of Arsenal this season...Does Perez start in PL?

    Arsenal could also lineup like:
    ----------- Giroud ------------
    Sanchez --- Ozil --- Perez

      sexy.

Not worried about Cazorla missing and the subsequent effect that will have on Sanchez(c)?

Arsenal were toothless last weekend when they played a midfield partnership of Elneny-Coquelin.

      A. Apart from this gameweek Leicester have a great run coming up. Citeh and Liverpool too unpredictable at the back at the moment.

I think you would be a fool not to look at Cédric Soares when fit. Southampton's fixtures are good after this weekend and they dont concede very many ...

My initial plan of Payet Snoddy and Coleman to Cout Wally and Pieters for -4 under threat as Wally is a doubt. Don't want to bring him in until after the United game now. Glad I've waited with the transfers. Few questions:

    A. Best replacement for Snoddy? Redmond or Stanislas?

    B. Would you use the other free transfer to do Payet to Coutinho or stick with Payet and wait until after the Stoke game.

    Thanks

1ft, 0.2 in the bank. Think I'll just keep Theo even though my bench cover is quite poor. Or should I just get lallana, up to 8m for a replacement

    Heaton
    Valencia, Williams, Holebas

    Heaton
    Monreal* Rose Smith
    Firm Cout Sterling Walcott* Allen
    Kun Lukaku

    Given Williams Stuani Love

Already taken a -4 hit this week. Gutted that Monreal Walcott may not play.

    Should I:
    A. Stick and hope Monreal and Walcott plays, if not let Williams and Stuani off the bench.
    B. Sub Kos in for Monreal
    C. Sub and play any other defenders for Williams (since I'll be transferring Williams out next GW). Looking at Holebas/ Alonso/ Fuchs

    Appreciate your thought. Thanks!
