The OPTA player and team stats have been updated in the Members area to allow some early analysis of today’s teams and players.

Statistics from the Villa vs Man City game will be added following the final whistle of course.

The statistics offer some early insight into the possible destination of the Fantasy Premier League Bonus points, although it must be said, many of those should be cut and dry. I say “should”, you just never know when Bonus Point allocation is concerned.

Just a reminder for those still toying with the idea of becoming a Member; half-season Membership is now available for just £10. Full details can be found here.

    adam 112 touches, 89 passes, 40 in the opposition half, bps are in the bag. sunderland's top passer was henderson with 43.
    fabregas 8 through balls, doubled any other player in the league today.
    apart form nani's league leading 8 shots, it looks like anderson is in line for a bp maybe

              Lucas has been there best player this season

              Kuyt plays on the wing. If Adam went there then he they would probably try to accomadate Adam,Meireles,Lucas, Gerrard, Kuyt into midfield.

              Theres no way Adam can play as a defensive tackling midfield shield which Lucas is doing currently.

    clichy won the most duels of a defender. vidic and agger won the most aerial duels, clichy most tackles wonby a good margin, clichy most recoveries too, d. simpson most interceptions, agger most clearances (raking through balls obviously not hoofs 😉 )

    If stats are anything to go by, Rooney, Berba, Fabs, RVP, VDV, Adam and Torres should be getting baps.

      Torres will only get 1 imo, he was quiet for the last 25-30 mins before his goal. Meireles should definitely get the 3 and maybe Agger 2... RVP, Berba and Dempsey are the other definite 3 BPs
