The OPTA player and team stats have been updated in the Members area to allow some early analysis of today’s teams and players.

Statistics from the Villa vs Man City game will be added following the final whistle of course.

The statistics offer some early insight into the possible destination of the Fantasy Premier League Bonus points, although it must be said, many of those should be cut and dry. I say “should”, you just never know when Bonus Point allocation is concerned.

So anyone else feel that this may have been the week to play the WC.

Obviously you can set your team up well for any week but to really have it pay off you need the big guns to deliver and they certainly have today.

That said i guess time will tell in how those teams that have WC'ed for today fair over the next double.

In hindsight i wish i played one this week and then used the other next week!

  Still think GW27 is a better time because more big guns are playing and you can better set your team up for the rest of the season.
  
  A lot of people have wildcarded deliberately for this GW but will have a lot of players they'll want to get rid of later so they're going to spend points taking them out.
  
  But yeah, no guarantee that the next DGW wll be as profitable.

Wow. Last night I was going to get in Evra and Walker. Had it not been for an auto log out I would be peed of right now. Phew. Not such a bad thing after all. Oh and thanks to those who said after that to get Kelly and not Walker.

I think more people should thank people when they do well. Instead of moaning at the bad advice when they do poorly.

Regarding the Fabs/Walcott assist/non assist, I'm sure I read somewhere that if a player makes a pass and another player from the same team touches the ball but does not significantly alter the course of the ball then both players can be awarded an assist!

Main gripes for today:

1)Rooney's miss from approx 1 yard - 8 pts
2)RVP's missed penalty - 6 pts
3)Evra missing out on CS by 15 mins - 5 pts

Turned what would have been a great GW into a good one. Would have been nice to have the extra 19 points... Still, a brace for Rooney against BLP midweek & all will be well 🙂
