Reply fail - @Attila ...
Open ControlsWhat's with the classic Akerspalm? The Keane news?
Open ControlsDeal not done yet, just rumourlings. Anyway he'd be better for you than Carlton Cole or Piquionne.
Open ControlsOh please - wash your face! 🙂
Open ControlsIn what way? The literal way? (I'm quite clean today), or the Bargain Hunt way? As in a manky looking dog ornament broke even?
Open ControlsThe last, I suspect! 😀
Open ControlsI used, many, many years ago to have an Edinburgh born girlfriend, and every time I started to blather, she would say to me ...
Open ControlsWas that when you worked down the coal mine too?
Open ControlsEEehh, you were lucky. I bet th' had pickaxe and all.
Open Controlsbah fook I were up n down that hoale with pitpony n't'kanary just frettin I were, me.

Would I be right in thinking that Djourou is going to lose his regular place now that Squillaci is back from injury?
In fairness Djourou has had some very impressive performances but I don't know whether Wenger will stick with him.
What's everyones thoughts?Open ControlsDjourou was starting ahead of Squillaci even before the frenchman was injured if I recall correctly.
Djourou's problem will be when Vermaelen comes back or if Arsenal sign a new centre back.Open ControlsI am leaning towards Djourou holding his regular place...Wenger is more than likely done in this transfer window. For him it is nice that Djourou is stepping up because he doesn't have to spend on a new defender. I think he is very pleased with Djourou and wants to continue to give the guy the chance to develop.

al-habsi, (foster)
kelly, evra, coleman/djourou, (murphy)
fabs, vdv, adam, nani, (yaya)
tevez, rvp, berbs
is this team good enough to save a transfer for this GW? and is my bench selection correct? having a lil problem in benching player this week :/Open ControlsFoster instead of Al-Habsi
Drop Coleman and play 3-4-3Open ControlsHmmm... I've got Al-Habsi ahead of Foster this week.
Open ControlsAlways have to go with the home keeper. It's in the Big Bumper Book Of Rules.
Open ControlsEven when the home keeper is going to have two of the best strikers in the world kicking balls at him all day???
Open ControlsAmeobi and Best are going to be away at Fulham.
Honestly I would play Foster.Open ControlsWhy do I care where those two are playing??? Al-Habsi plays for Wigan...
Open Controls
If they kick them at him, that'll be OK (unless he has another C.Cole moment..). It's kicking them past him that I'm worried about.
Open ControlsI see P-Wingie getting a brace against Wigan...besides as someone said earlier neither are going to keep a clean sheet. That being said I would pick Foster as Citeh have the more competent players that can put saveable balls on frame. I see everyone other than Brunt and P-Wingie skying balls into the crowd (yes Tchoyi, Jara and Morrison...I'm talking about yall!!).
Open Controls
If you play Djourou, you have my starting 11 this week with Evra instead of Vidic.
Goalie is a toughie this week. But I'm willing to risk Al-Habsi considering Brum's fatigue and poor defensive form.Open Controls
Whats everyone doing with Rooney? Is anyone getting rid this week? was thinking about Rooney -> Drogba.
Open ControlsRooney's short-term fixtures are too good to ignore - If he goes it has to be for Berbatov, but this will come along with the obvious "missed the boat" feeling.
Open ControlsI thought that too during the Blackpool game, Berbatov has scored his few now, then came the second half, and he scored twice, I honestly think Berb will keep scoring, I have Rooney, and am tempted to leave at home to Villa as I am WC the following week and there are a few people I want to take punts on instead of N'Zogbia!

Get Van Persie

Does Curtis Davies go straight into the Birmingham side ? Decent option for GW27 ?
Open ControlsNot up yet, but I am guessing 5.0.

NEW POST
Open ControlsWoodgate has turned down the chance to join Wolves on loan - hopefully he'll come back to us.
Oh and everyone who has bought RVP for this gameweek - you are all, every last one of you, a shower of price raising scuts.Open ControlsNot me - I already had him last week ... 🙂
Open Controls
Been a while since I did one of these posts so here goes....
Foster Jaask
Vidic Kelly Kolarov (Kelly, Salcido)
Nani VDV Nasri Adam (Cleverley)
Torres Bent Rooney
0.6 in the bank. RVP? Is he essential for the next two gameweeks? I don't think he is personally. So was thinking perhaps Vidic -> 6.0m defender and Cleverley -> Walcott, yes, he is a rotation risk but we will know this week at least... Any Other suggestions? Help greatly, greatly aprreciated.Open ControlsReina
Hughes / Kelly / Vidic
Nani / Adam / Nasri / Dempsey / Van der Vaart
Tevez / Berbatov
Bench: Foster / Coleman / Bardsley / Carroll
Thinking of transferring Odemwingie for Carroll, any suggestions on who to drop to the bench? Or should I save the transfer.Open Controlswhat's better
a) Ferguson & Berb
b) Cahill & Odemwingie
c) A Young & OdemwingieOpen ControlsEr, I have Berbatov, RvP & Bent. What should I do? 🙂
Open ControlsOnly negative about us getting Vela is that if he does really well for us, it's nearly 100% certain we will have no chance of signing him on a permanent deal.
Open ControlsSame situation as Bruce with Welbeck, then.
Open ControlsPretty much, oh well.. Can't be fussy when apart from Odemwingie you have Bednar, Miller & Fortune! According to Wiki we've already signed him.
Open Controls
He wouldn't want to play against Doncaster away next season anyway 😉
Open ControlsWe'll beat you on the final day to survive. 😉
Buggumark it!Open ControlsI really REALLY hope it doesn't come down to a massive 6 pointer for us both to survive!
Open ControlsI'm on the other side of that - if it does, we'll still be clinging on with our fingernails ...
Open ControlsI'm sure it won't, I think both of us will be in the Prem next season. Would love it it all three of us that came up survived..
Going through a quite large blip but Di Matteo is thinking of making changes at the back which should make us a more solid, Nicky Shorey should be one of the first names on the team sheet for me!Open ControlsYeah can't really see why he hasn't been a regular, decent player him.
Sorry MMW but I'm hoping of the likely candidates West Ham, Wigan and Wolves dropOpen ControlsI think Wigan, Wolves and either West Ham & Blackpool. Wolves just haven't signed anyone, they need about 3 defenders! I'm still a little surprised West Ham are bottom but bottom of Xmas and all that, we still want to keep our record thanks. 😉
Open Controls
Berbatov or Van Persie? Already have Tevez and DJ Campbell
Open ControlsArsenal - EVE, new, WOL+STK, none
Liverpool - STK, che, WIG, whm
Man City - bir, WBA, mun, FUL
Man Utd - AST, wol, MCY, wig+che
I have RVP, Torres, and Berbatov. When to bring in Tevez and for who?!! If at all given Citeh not having a DGW.
One other option is to bring in Yaya as an alternative source of attacking points (it worked a couple of GWs ago).Open ControlsMan Utd have been conceding and Villa should be more confident now than they have at any point this season. I've got Young benched at the minute but don't like it one bit.
Open Controls
Foster
Hangeland, Djourou, Kelly
Nani, Adam, Dempsey, Van der Vaart
Berbatov, Torres, Van Persie
Bench: Stockdale, Bardsley, Coleman, Yaya Toure
Bank: 0.4
Looking good for this week? Pretty worried about Birmingham vs Man City, so thinking maybe I'd be better off sticking with Stockdale this week.
Have one transfer free. Appreciate any thoughts. Was thinking of bringing in Meireles for Dempsey - or perhaps Walcott since I have no Arsenal mid-field coverage.Open ControlsTotally missed the new thread, doh. Posting there. =)
