A new version of the Next Six Season Ticker is now live in your frontpage sidebar. In addition to updating the home and away rankings for all teams, there are a host of bug fixes available to all and an array of exciting new features available to our Members.

In a nutshell, the Season Ticker is now fully customisable – Members can not only edit all the team home and away ranking scores to change the fixture difficulties, then can also create new filters to apply to the ticker and, with new import and export tools, they can share them with other Members.

We’ve supplied two new filters, giving Members the ability to view the likelihood of attacking returns and clean sheets within a gameweek or over a group of gameweeks for each team.

We’ve also made the full ticker view, previously only accessible in the Members Area, this is now available with a click of the button from the Next Six Ticker. Using this you can apply the new filters and sort teams over a big range of gameweeks.

Huge credit goes to Pure Olivia for his superb work on the Ticker, making it one of the best Fantasy Football analysis tools around.

Bug Fixes – For All

Non-Members have their column sorting feature back
Double gameweeks are now correctly assessed in sorting
Blank gameweeks are now correctly assessed in sorting

New Features – For Members

Maximise View

Click the arrow button in top left of the sidebar ticker and the ticker will expand to show the full season ticker enabling you to view far more gameweeks than just the default six.

New Team Ranking Filters
Members can now view a ticker which displays the difficulty of forthcoming opponents based on three default filters with the ability to create and add your own. Filters are accessed via the dropdown list under the gameweek selector slider. Scout (Overall) is the default filter.

Scout (Overall)
This is the vanilla overall fixture difficulty view that you’re used to but with updated rankings for all teams of course. Teams are rated based on their overall form home and away over the past 5 games.

Scout (Attacking)
This filter assesses the difficulty of forthcoming fixtures in terms of attacking returns. Teams are rated based on their likelihood to concede goals based on statistics over the past 5 games home and away, together with their overall form.

This means that for each gameweek or set of gameweeks you can easily view those teams that are most likely to score attacking points based on the rankings of opponents. Don’t forget you can use the gameweek column filter to sort teams in that gameweek or the Sort by Difficulty button to sort by gameweeks currently in view.

Scout (Clean Sheets)
This filter assesses the difficulty of forthcoming fixtures in terms of clean sheets. Teams are rated based on their likelihood to score goals based on statistics over the past 5 games home and way, together with their overall form.

This means that for each gameweek or set of gameweeks you can easily view those teams that are most likely to earn clean sheets based on the rankings of opponents.

Create New Team Ranking Filters

If you don’t agree with our current rankings for teams, you can add your own. All the default filters can be edited and, as soon as you begin tweaking, it creates a brand new “You Are The Scout†filter in the dropdown list. This means that you can create your own set of filters from the team rankings that you decide. Effectively then, you can design and create your own team rating filters for full customization of your ticker.

Import and Export Rankings

Not only can your create your own set of filters, you can import and export them to share them with others. With any of your filters selected in the dropdown just select Export Rankings and you will see your set of rankings which can be copied into another users Import Rankings panel.

To Import Rankings simply click on the Import Rankings button, copy the rankings into the available box and then add a Name before clicking Import. This will add a new filter to your Ticker dropdown list.

Filters can be named and deleted using the buttons provided.

If you have any issues with the new Season Ticker – please contact us at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk

At the beginning of the season I told all the guys in the mini-league about this site. Otherwise its just not fair, and not particularly challenging. I am sure it allows one to focus on getting a better overall ranking (rather than focusing on taking a rival down), but its wayyyyyy more exciting when it comes down to the wire!

One cleansheet in the last 14(?) games isn't too great for someone who will mainly get you points as defender. Also most of their team have died a death most horrid.

Not that this really matters as Coleman is most likely out, but he's more like Walker, likely to get assist/goal points not cleanies!

That clean sheet record is terrible, poor Everton they have glass players every single year.

Couple of decisions I need some advice on (got lost on last post)

    1. Play Foster and R Johnson or spread the risk with Foster and Huth?

    2. Keep Tevez…if he doesn’t play Barton comes off the bench, that way I get to bring in Wellbeck and Lamps next week no hit …or… play it a week at a time and get Suarez in for Tevez now….and deal with the Lamps conundrum later?

That's why I wouldn't want berbs in my team. You have to play him this week as he has the best potential for a massive score out of that lot, also most likely to get you 1 or 2 points though.

Selection headache, need some opinions -

        foster

        kolarov, baines, coleman

        nani, vdv, nasri, barton

        rvp, rooney, sturridge

        friedal, luiz, meireles, kelly

That's how I've got it atm but I'm torn on luiz, meireles, sturridge, barton. If we get no indication of coleman's fitness than I'll probably take him out for luiz (I actually fancy an away cs for chelsea) hmmmmmmmmm help needed 😀

well it's 4 points IF he gets a cs, I also think sturridge, barton, coleman, meireles have a good chance to get amongst the points. Hence why I'm torn.

I'd be worried about Coleman getting 20 minutes personally.... Moyes is probably the worst manager for revealing the extent of injuries. As you have Baines, it might be wiser to hedge your bets and go Kol, Baines, Luiz

Yeah very good point Dunc. Unless Moyes says he's definitely alright to start (unlikely as you say) then I'll do just that. Cheers.
Just have to decide who to bench out of meireles, sturridge, barton then.

Arrrggghhhh, I want to bring in Luiz, Lamps and Suarez but i cant afford 3 subs unless I take Nani or Vidic out, plus it'll be an 8 pointer...

        What do we think,

A - Kolarov and Tevez for Luiz and Suarez, keep Silva
B - Silva and Tevez for Lampard an Suarez, keep Kolarov

or just do one transfer and avoid the hit

        D - Tevez for Suarez

Not really. Will have a longer debate with myself later on, but I think there is a serious worry that RVP will either limp off or come on and not get 90 minutes. If I knew he was fit he'd be my first choice of course.

Suarez is a bit tempting for me too. I still got Berbatov and although I want to keep him I can't allow SAF to bench 9m of my budget just because he thinks it's fun.

Key players for the run in?

        Team for this week:

        Foster
        Huth, Kolarov, Coleman
        Nani, Nasri, VDV, Meireles, Downing
        Rooney, RVP(c)

Bench: Al Habsi, Rafael, Djourou, Zigic

Do I need to make any transfers this week? I have a few injuries/rotations I need to cover, and I'm 70 points behind my rival who has a near-identical team to mine. Would it be better to save the free and start making changes next week with 2 frees?

Agree - thinking of doing a big swap-around soon, perhaps:

Nasri, Meireles, VDV -> Lampard, Adam, Walcott

nah, heard it on the radio. But apparantly the other guys might share it with the 5, they haven't decided.

So it's £16.6m between 12 or £28.5m between 7. Don't think I could live with myself if I didn't share - to be honest, what's the difference between 16m and 28m if you're coming from pretty much nothing? Maybe 'only' give them £10m each or something, but you'd have to share something unless you had a heart of stone.

Yeah, I'd share. All I'd want is a nice house, maybe a car and enough to live off the interest.

I'd probably buy a load of nice houses and let them to my mates rent free.

                    Yep.

A good thing to do when playing in a syndicate like that is stating clear rules before you start playing, then you'll never have this problem.

Like that you get a lesser part of the win if you forget to pay, or nothing at all if you prefer that.

That's a good point. Wonder if anyone would try to sue on a verbal contract? Could be really messy between them.

Likely they probably did do that and made it clear if you don't pay you don't win. Still wouldn't stop you feeling like you should pay em though.

Save it then, IMO. No point in wasting it.

If you're in the lead, you could save it until the last day, and copy your nearest rivals team. It's cheap, but if you have a 20pt lead it should win you the league.

Cardiff have the number one CB out and have been looking a bit toothless in attack lately. On paper it should still be a win, but I'd leave them off an accy.

        Foster (Begovic)
Baines, Walker, R. Johnson (Coleman, Simpson)
        Nani, VdV, Adam, Barton, Downing
        Tevez (C), Berbatov (Zigic)

Haven't made any transfers yet. Considering Tevez out, but don't know who for. Also, could get rid of Zigic, Coleman, and Barton.
