if Di Maria comes in at 10m or less...I'm thinking Yaya + Rooney > Di Maria + Aguero for a hit

though I am partial to keeping Yaya for Stoke..

Missed both Everton games. Anyone want to fill me in on Naismith? He's only behind Jovetic for BPS in FOR which suggests to me he's done more than just be in the right place at the right time

B if anything. Moving away from an offensive rotation is the way to go. Losing Sterling is a risk, but he may be somewhat marginalized with Balotelli arriving.
Another option is to downgrade Bojan and reinvest in defence.

Mid is perfect dont touch that, Bojan >Fletcher or if u can by tweaking Def.. do Costa and Bojan > Sturridge 4.5 and play 3-5-2

What are the chances of MU playing 4-2-2-2?

    DDG
    Rafael - Jones - Evans - Shaw
    Ander - Vidal
    Di Maria - Mata
    Rooney - RVP

A bit like City last year? I think they played this formation few times?

    1. The Sarjeant

It's too narrow. van Gaal signed Di Maria saying he needed wide players, he wouldn't buy him and then not play him out wide.

Teaching a new system takes a lot of time. He won't throw away all the work.

Also, Rojo needs to be in there 😉

I agree with what you said on the last page. Just because they're playing a 3-5-2, doesn't mean Di Maria will be a wing back, like you said. He can easily be played as a winger.

why? the ONLY reason against United right now is Champions League..we're still one of the biggest clubs in the world and we are transitioning out of a bad period..good things for United in the future I think..it may be a rocky road but it's on the way

They beat all the small teams though. Unlike United at the moment.

Obviously there will need to be changes for the big games.

DiMaria CM?? Suicide, no way. Take Januzaj out and move Di Maria to where he belongs.

Against the good teams that would probably be the right call but first United need to beat the smaller teams. United needs to be more dynamic in attack and dominate all the possession hence Di Maria as a CM where he played much of his football at RM.

we need a ball winner a strong physical presence in the centre of the park

chelsea have matic and city have yaya

its not a coinceidence that those 2 teams are gunna dominate this year

You're a typical English football fan. Stuck in the past with the idea of some need for brutish defensive midfielders. The best teams don't need them, they just fill their side with class instead.

and where has that got arsenal? loaded with technically gifted but lightweight players who come up against the likes of stoke and get kicked off the park and they dissapear into their shells.. thats the way of the english game mate its not my fault thats how it is

and again i hate to repeat myself but its no coinceidence that the 2 most dominant teams are also the most powerful physically as well as having the class u speak of...

Currently have Henderson as my ONLY Liverpool coverage.

Giroud looks out injured for a while. How would you Improve my squad? 2 FT this week.

    KRUL, DDG

    IVANOVIC, CLYNE, COLOCCINO, PVA, WISDOM

    RAMSEY, MATA, HENDERSON, SIGGY, MUTCH

    GIROUD, ROONEY, DIEGO COSTA

Worked out ok so far but need to keep pace!

        Thanks mate.

Concerned about maybe needing Studge / Sterling instead of Henderson. Was hoping H could be this seasons Ramsey but sitting too deep?

Please don't use caps. Its actually quite hard to read as well as being against the T/C's

I'd consider swapping Giroud for Jovetic because you also have no City players and I believe they are more important.

Sorry Ryan, didn't mean to go against the T/C's!

City was certainly a worry for me as well.

Re-posting in light of today's result:

    Krul, Elliot
    Cahill, Chester, PVA, Hutton, Wisdom
    Hazard, Ramsey, Mata, Sigurdsson, Marney
    Rooney, Costa, Dzeko

    2 FT, 0 ITB.

Was planning on doing Cahill > Clyne this week and Dzeko, Marney > Sterling, Naismith next week, but I'm worried about Dzeko's status and my United attackers are starting to feel like anchors (fixtures be damned).

    Any suggestions?

    Krul
    Taylor Clyne Cahill
    Eriksen Mata Ramsey Sigurdsson
    Dzeko Rooney Costa

    Subs: Given Chester Albrighton Moore

1 FT, 1.0 itb. Should I save the FT to possibly bring aguero in after next GW or get rid of Dzeko already?

Currently facing 3 price drops with Bojan, Caulker and Mutch, I can't understand the knee jerking looking at the next fixtures. Are there any better options at the same price bracket?

that is unlucky, if you do not want to take hits I would get Bojan out for Naismith and keep the rest
