How can you tell what is a new comment and what is a response on new website - if not could Scout team please consider reinstating this

Yep!
When I first used to visit this site in 2011-12 I found the comment section very hard to read. Was difficult to distinguish comments from replies. Never bothered creating an account to comment Years later they changed the system that we had up until recently. Was much easier on the eye. unfortunately looks like we're back to the old ways
