Dier flagged. Ffs, not going to make anything from this WC.

Same, thinking of switching to Moreno and Shawcross

Neither of them two will rise twice either.

Oh well, still got Ivan, Dyer and Naismith

Not anything? I hope you make a great F-OFF team

      I know I will 🙂

Tasty... still playing the hopeful rises and if that all goes to tits I can easily revert to what I really, really want.

You have to remember that we're not yet halfway through the break. Transfers will pick up next week.

Made .1 off Naismith. Can't see anyone else i'm willing to lose rise by .2. Hopefully Dyer will squeeze another rise. Dier was nailed on to rise again until the flag.

People are less likely to transfer him in as he is carrying a 'knock'

    Hey, would you:?
    Cahill & Erikson -> Clyne & Fabregas
    Rooney & DDG -> Forster & Falcao
    Chambers -> Wilson (save 1FT)

    De Gea
    Cahill, Coloccini, O’Shea
    Siggy, Ramsey, Henderson, Erikson
    Costa, Sturridge, Rooney
    (Gilks, Chambers, Chester, King)

    DDG
    Ivanovic | Clyne | Bardsley
    Mata | Ramsey | Sterling | Siggy
    Roonpig | Naismith | Costa

    Gilks, Colocini, JWP, Wisdom

    1.0 ITB

Too much ManU. Want to ditch Mata as I think he is going to be a squad player now. But who to get?

Trying to resist the WC, but if I weaken, how does this look?

    Krul

    Clyne - Pieters - Moreno

    Sterling - Ramsey - Siggy - ADM

    Welbeck - Aguero - Costa

    Elliot - King - N Taylor - Moore

      Current team for GW4:

      Clyne - Cahill - Moore

      Sterling - Ramsey - Siggy - Fabregas

      Rooney - Costa - Naismith

I'm quite proud of myself for not having taken a hit all season going into GW4. In past seasons I've been quite hit happy but trying to turn over a new leaf this time around. Might be the reason I actually have a decent ranking for once! Lets see how long I can keep it up 😉

    1. Miracallas
      12 years, 1 month ago

It's the other way around - the reason you haven't taken is a hit is BECAUSE you have a decent ranking 🙂 surely

So how long do we think one can wait until doing Mata -> Sterling considering price changes?

    1. BLACKSHEEP

      depends on your budget

    2. Andy1
      12 years, 1 month ago

      I'm debating that myself

    3. Miracallas
      12 years, 1 month ago

Mata will only drop 0.1m if at all, and Sterling will only rise 0.1m more. So until the deadline IMO

    4. Olivier Bernards watch
      12 years, 1 month ago

  13. WSRevilo
    12 years, 1 month ago

As the prices changes aren't as turbulent as last year, is there a case for being conservative this week and rolling transfers to see what impact new players make?

    1. Wings Fan
      12 years, 1 month ago

      Yes.

Even more so when you consider Aguero is just about returning to full fitness, plus waiting allows us to see how United perform with all of their new signings hopefully fit.

    2. kalmoffit
      12 years, 1 month ago

Yes. I was unsure that Costa would be worth having, and now he looks like he will, I was still able to buy him at his starting price.

  14. Ady87
    12 years, 1 month ago

    Thoughts on this set up?

    Forster (Krul)

    Taylor Shawcross Coloccini (Chester Duff)

    Fabregas Sanchez ADM Siggy (£4.5m)

    Costa Falcao Welbeck

    1. emperikal
      12 years, 1 month ago

Still don't think Sanchez is worth his price tag and wouldn't double up on Arsenal with their run of fixtures coming up

      1. Ady87
        12 years, 1 month ago

Yeah was looking at it from a differential point of view.

If I had Sterling instead I'd have £1.4m to spend elsewhere. Probably Chester to Lovren and possibly bank the change.

        1. emperikal
          12 years, 1 month ago

    1. emperikal
      12 years, 1 month ago

A definite possibility. I'll be monitoring him but won't be quick to get him in. Need to see how they'll shape up first and if he can continue that form in the EPL

      1. PAIRIDAEZAN

Agreed. 7m is just such an iffy price range for mids and strikers...

  24. ...---...

Anyone else think that Welbeck is absolute daylight robbery @ £6.9m? Surely he's as capable of doing at least as well as that donkey Giroud who seemed quite competitively priced at £8.5m at the start of the season?

Completed my wildcard team! (Pending capitalisation on Ivanovic's and Dyer's price rises)

    Bego - (cabbage)
    Moreno - Pieters - Clyne
    Siggy - Fab - Rambo - Sterling - Tadic
    Costa - Naismith - Falcao

0.3ITB (will go up to 0.5 after capitalising on those price rises)

Any sort of input is ace!

Happy with the Stoke double up? Would maybe consider a Swans defender or Fabianski over Bego

Well yes, they seem to have an excellent shut out potential fixtures, I reckon a decent bet

Hmm I'm not so sure.. They don't look solid enough for a double up imo. Just my opinion of course.

Swans look good but Che(away) is putting me off a bit. 😉

I run this. Bego + Shawx with Fabianski + NTaylor has been just as good as Dier and Ivanovic, who I also have.

Only one dodgy match-up in the first 20 GWs with that keeper and defender rotation.

Some go up, some go down. Pick your team and hope they score.

Should I do Roo to Falcao to avoid the 'potential' price drop?

    I doubt he will drop.

    Lads.
Rooney and Cahill --> Falcao and Moreno for a 4 point hit?
To avoid the price drop tonight of rooney.

why would you sell cahill? just do Rooney>Falcao. And if you don't have the £, just save this week.
