We turn our attentions to the player Key Performance Indicator (KPI) statistics once again in our latest members’ article. Having assessed the form of Forwards over the last four Gameweeks compared to the first seven rounds of fixtures late last week, we now turn our attentions to the men in midfield.

For the unfamiliar, these Key Performers Indicator (KPI) tables use a series of key stats to allow our members to track a trend in player performance as a guide to their form. By tracking the frequency of certain key statistics, such as minutes per chance, and comparing them over two separate periods of time, we can ascertain patterns of improvement or decline in these areas. For those unfamiliar, we’ve rolled out a preview movie which shows just how to get the best out of the KPI tables.

      I got rid of Naylor to fund Sanchez, so I'm loathe to get him back in. In total, I had 1 point of him when playing him, and 20+ on the bench. Swansea are annoying 😀

    If Baines is ruled out for just 1 week, what are people doing?

    He has Spurs and City away in 2 of the next 3 to follow, so I think getting rid this week with a view to bringing back after the City game is a decent strategy. May cost 0.1-0.2m but I'd fancy a CHE defender to comfortably outscore him over the 4 weeks.

    Has anyone got a player in before then transferred him out for a -4 before he's even kicked a ball?

    I got Sanchez in last week but I wish I'd got Haz now.

    Any thoughts?

      Madness! I see why you'd like Hazard, but it's not worth it to change Sanchez (the most in form player in the FPL) to Hazard for -4

    Anyone think that Lovren is nailed on? I know he hasn't been great but I'd buy him if I thought he'd continue starting

      He's shocking - had him for about 5 weeks and he was an utter disappointment. Was so glad to see the back of him

        ok, well thanks all. Looking at a 5.3m enabler if Baines is out as I want Costa back.

        Alternatives at the moment could be Kaboul (also terrible form) and Trippier

    When i get in an attacker i only think of the next 5 as its pretty pointless to plan beyond that

    Defenders i would hope to minimize making transfers..but for attackers its purely due to the form of the players and u will feel finger itchy if they blank a few games.

    Have already used 12 transfers on my front 7. Enough said

      I try and get a stable core of all fixture players and then stuff around with periphery players with good fixtures

    My team:

    Foster (Mannone)

    Baines, Bertrand, Chambers (moore, hutton)

    Haz, Downing, Chadli, Siggy

    Costa, Aguero Austin

    Bit reluctant to play Foster at Chelsea, but I personally think I have more pressing issues than just putting in another keeper who may not score better than Foster.

    So, this game week was thinking save FT.

    Next week, Bert -> Azpi, and Pelle ->Austin.

    The game week after that, I was thinking Chadli -> Sanchez.

    thoughts?
