After another international interruption, there’s just a few hours left until the domestic action resumes once again. Our quest to get the better of Paddy sees us turn our attentions to a couple of in-form midfielders from Chelsea and Tottenham, whilst QPR’s free-scoring frontman also gets the nod for the trip to injury-hit Newcastle.

First up, we make our way to Stamford Bridge as the league leaders prepare for the visit of a West Brom side that have scored three times on the road this season. Paddy are offering 7/2 on Oscar to score and Chelsea to collect a clean sheet, and bearing in mind the Brazilian has scored three times in the last six, we’re happy to make this our bet of the week and throw £4 their way.

Whilst Spurs continue to struggle under Mauricio Pochettino, Nacer Chadli is thriving as a Fantasy force. The Belgian grabbed his sixth goal of the season last time out and pays visit to a Hull side that has failed to score in each of the last three Gameweeks. With Paddy offering 8/1 on Chadli to score and for Spurs to earn a shut-out, we part company with another £3.

Our final bet is saved for St James’ Park. Newcastle have lost Fabricio Coloccini to injury, and with Steven Taylor regarded as “a big doubt” by Alan Pardew, the hosts’ recent run of clean sheets could be coming to an end. Charlie Austin has notched four in the last three now – including strikes against Chelsea and City – and with Paddy are willing to offer 66/1 on Austin to score twice and the R’s to grab a clean sheet, this one looks worth a flutter. We’re going to back Harry Redknapp’s side to the tune of our final £3.

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

I have baines, fabregas and Sakho. With only Duff and Wanyama on the bench. I'm not gna take a hit but its a bit gutting to fully expect a low return 🙁

Fab should play. Baines with a shot as well. Sakho the worry. And even if he's fit all this rotation talk from BFS was enough for me to shift him for a hit.

AdM to Hazard for -4 or Sakho to aaustin for -4 (Boyd first sub) are both foolish, right?

    Morning DZers.

Best way to use 2 FTs with this lot?

    Elliot ᵍᵏ Krul
    Moore ᵈ Duff ᵈ Baines ᵈ Clyne ᵈ Chester
Hazard ᵐ Di María ᵐ Sánchez ᵐ Albrighton ᵐ Sigurdsson
    Sakho ᶠ Pellè ᶠ Costa

2 FT, £1.5m in the bank.

    a) ADM + Sakho > Aguero + 4.6 mid (Boyd etc who would play this week then be bench fodder)
    b) ADM + Pelle > Downing/Chadli (which one) + Aguero
    c) something else

    Cheers in advance. 🙂

I like B, TM. Though Pelle could be gotten rid next week, Villa w/o a backbone is very tasty.
Then again, Aguero can be brought in for the hit + Captain

I'll stick w/ what I said the other day, B is winner for me here. Good luck!

Have 1 free trsnsfer, thinking Baines to Ivan but would feel a right plum if he plays. Ahhhh what to do 🙂

Couldn't separate the two plots in my head. So the first one is where they're on vacation in the cabin. Army of Darkness is set in medieval times. 2 is set...

              ?

              Can't remember.

! and 2 are basically the same film just 2 takes a more comedic approach. Some great one liners. Groovy. In Army of Darkness they go to to medieval times as you say and it is even more comedic but nt as good imo.

Still can't really separate the two in my head for some reason. I remember 2 being "the one" as it were. But I suppose I should as I owned them all on DVD! Don't remember half of what I should these days.

Would anyone consider using a transfer for Foster > Krul/Guzan? Both those keepers have patched up defence but can't see Foster keeping a clean sheet either!!

I thought about it but decided to keep my free transfer in the end. There are no guarantees of a clean sheet there either and Fosters fixtures improve again after this week.

Also, with this being the qualifying round of PP cup, even with flags a plenty, I guess taking a -4 hit would be pretty costly?

    G2G? Subs order?

    Mannone
    Clyne, Baines, Bardsley
    Sánchez, Downing, Tadic, Chadli
    Agüero(C), Costa(VC), Welbeck

    Adrián, Boyd, Hutton, Chambers

    1FT; 0.3m ITB

I’m very tempted by Baines > Terry

Which attack looks better given injuries etc?

    A) Sigurdsson Hazard Sánchez Boyd (Albrighton)
    Pellè Costa Aguero

    B) Sigurdsson Hazard Sánchez Chadli (Albrighton)
    Sakho Costa Aguero

With A) Alb + Pelle would go for a hit next week
With B) Perhaps all would be ok for next week

Sakho sub is 0/2 points in B)

Pretty much - Boyd + Pelle vs Chadli + 4 points

B, IMO. Sakho still has an odd chance of a scoring in a cameo.
vs A w/ Pelle having the higher ceiling than the former but at the expense of an unlikely 4th mid producing legitimate goal threat.

The odds are leaning for B. Plus, one step ahead for next week

Baines, Clyne, Hutton, Chambers and Yun are my defenders.

Currently Baines, Clyne and Hutton are in the starting XI and the bench order is Boyd, Yun and Chambers.

Question is should Chambers start ahead of Hutton and should I change the bench order to give Chambers preference over Yun?

FYI- Kept Chambers as 3rd sub because I feel both United and Arsenal defences are shaky and both will leak goals.

    Opinions please.

I'd put him ahead of Yun, he's always in the mix. I expected goals and assists from him this year. Just not in the same game 🙂
