So, it's looking like whoever wins the CL final will also be winning a treble. Pretty big game.

    1st question

    1) Mata Or 2) Young

    instead of 2nd question

    1) Ramsey Or 2) Coutinho

What should I do with this team folks? I'm thinking either:

    (A) Larsson > Young
    (B) Kane > Lukaku
    (C) Both (-4)

    Mignolet
    PVA Terry Kosc (Toby) (Wollscheid)
    Sanchez Larsson Cazorla Silva (Boyd)
    Aguero Kane Benteke

I like C. Concerned at all about Benteke rest? They cannot afford an injury to him.

    Bottomed:

Before tonight I was all set to do Kane and Hendo to Gomis and Bolasie for free. Worries about Arsenal attackers might require a rethink.

    Migs
    Terry, Ivan, Schlupp
    Hendo, Hazard, Caz, Sanchez
    Giroud, Kane, Aguero

Should I stay the course or get rid of Arsenal assets?

    A. Kane and Hendo to Gomis and Bolasie
    B. Giroud and Sanchez to Lukaku and Silva/Toure
    C. Other?

I'm considering the following for -4

        Caz > silva
        Hendo > bolasie

Just wanna celebrate The Lads latest Houdini act. Well done to Big Dick and his men with Testicles of Steel! By the way, they need to look at how BAPS are allocated. How can all 4 Arsenal defenders get them over our boys in a nil-nil? Surely you have to reward impact on the game! (Not to mention the season) Cue stats on pass completion etc. Anyone else agree that this is b#llocks?

Leicester defenders are crap at BPS because they don't complete enough passes. Arsenal defenders do since they hog the ball and make simple passes

That's whats bollocks about it, who cares about defenders pass completion? It's like saying you like watching England pass it continually across the back line. I'd rather boil me head!

Agreed, it's one of the things they should look at for next season. Who cares if someone completes 95% backwards or sideways passes

I can understand full backs getting them for dribbles, crosses etc. But no-one can tell me that Kos gets 3 BAPS Over Pants for 8 saves and a clean sheet away to Arsenal!

8 saves away to Arsenal and a clean sheet = 0 BAPS v 3 saves at home to Soton in 2 nil win = 2 BAPS? Haway man!

From Sky News. Manchester United will attempt to make the first move to take Raheem Sterling away from Liverpool, according to the back page of the Times, Daily Mail, Daily Mirror and Daily Star on Thursday morning.

I'd rather take KDB over him.

If he's available for 30m I'd take him in a heartbeat.

                    Huge upside.

                  Have never been overly impressed.

If City can turn him into a massive talent, fair enough. Otherwise he can lie on the junk pile with the likes of Sinclair and Rodwell.

                    Every club has failed transfers.

Anderson? Bebe? Shaw in a few seasons etc

But the point with Sterling is that the upside is huge which Sinclair and Rodwell didn't have. Moreover Sinclair and Rodwell didn't come for huge money as well.

                      Hang on a tick.

Shaw has had a poor season, but is still young and should have the same "upside" as Sterling? Interesting one that.

My point is that yes, every club has failed transfers, and half the time it is because they don't focus their spending as well as they should. Sterling would help City because City need a good winger or two.

As for huge money, I'm not sure I understand. I'd rather have someone flop who cost me a few million than someone who cost 30-40 million. If you think Sterling is worth £40 million then that's all well and good, I simply haven't been watching the same Sterling.

Aye. As CS says, majority of them are money grabbers. I just don't really think he's worth it at all. Pool should cash in by all means, try and get City to pay silly money for him.

He would be overpriced. Even Ashley Young is better than him at the moment. I know Sterling's only 20, but you just know he'd cost over £50m.

If Pool can get that for him then that is really top notch business.

It is why I am always a bit wary of young "superstars". Some of them don't actually have a ridiculous level of potential that they can fulfill, they merely blossom younger and are able to play at a high standard younger. Look at his finishing. Start of the season, it was one of his worst attributes. End of the season, having played up front a number of times, it is still crap. He's obviously a very talented lad but I have serious doubts about how far he will develop. Pool should fleece whoever tries to sign him.

Part of me thinks a couple of those are being handled to keep them out of the spotlight. Summer is approaching, contracts being examined. Last thing you need are certain players who haven't lived up to the price tag being in plain view. Best to hide them away.

Not so sure. I reckon it's him being a tad sly. Let's face it, it's better to pack Balotelli away and hope nobody notices than have his scowly mug on the bench reminding everyone where £16 million went last year.

Hmm maybe, it's pretty public that Balotelli wasn't Rodgers decision to buy though, and personally I feel £20m seems more wasted when Markovic isn't even on the bench wiht no reason

A player transferring from Liverpool to United hasn't happened since 1964. For a reason. I don't need to explain that reason.
If the American owners allowed this to happen for "puke" moneyball reasons, then the footy world has truly... gone mad.
