After finishing seventh under former manager David Moyes in the previous campaign, 2014/15 was a transitional one for Man United. New boss Louis van Gaal splashed the cash on the likes of Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw, in addition to drafting in Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan, yet despite having no European fixtures to concern themselves with, the Old Trafford outfit struggled for cohesion in the Dutchman’s first year at the helm.

Certainly, in front of their own fans, United were a real force to be reckoned with. Van Gaal’s side scored 41 home goals – a tally bettered only by neighbours City (44) – yet on the road, they were a different prospect altogether and netted just 21 times, only two more than relegated QPR.

        Wouldn't have been a patch on Scholes. If he could have been a success anywhere, I think it would have to have been at Arsenal. EPL probably to fast paced and physical for him to thrive though.

          You're welcome, £50m is a tight budget... I've currently got:
          Option 1
          Arsenal £22m / MKD £6m / Bury £8m / Wycombe £12m / Dumbarton £2m
          Arsenal should score well in the league and FA Cup, the others bar Dumbarton should do okay in their league fixtures.

          Option 2
          Newcastle £8m / Cardiff £9m / Bury £8m / Morecambe £5m / Rangers £20m
          Rangers should dominate the lower league in Scotland, and they should score plenty of cup points. Newcastle (i hope) are on the way back up - just need to sign Austin and change owner.... the others will do ok.

              Yeah, I reckon Dumbarton / Livingston will be common choices at that price. But at the other end of the scale Rangers could really dominate for points...

              Hopefully they get more than 333 paid teams to up the prize pot.

              I played their Predictor game last season - that's a weekly competition which is pretty neat. This Sweepstake sort of sits in the background during the season but then everyone starts paying attention to the teams they picked near the end when it comes close to announcing the winners - there is a leader board.

              Pretty neat concept. Good luck!

            How long you been doing this WR? You know expensive keepers are not the way to go.

            Last season Heaton was 2nd highest keeper and Courtois struggled for top 10.

        Going Bali in December, so I do have some time.

        I might try make my own tripod, or converting a normal tripod into one that I can use with my phone. I'd like the tripod stand to be as foldable as possible.

        I did consider get a drone but it seems to only be good for videos, not photos.

              Staying 10 days with missus, starting with a hotel called The Edge down to south, apparently it's pimp. We will then head back up to Jimbaran and will stay at Jinmahal for 4 days then some famous place with tents in Ubud. Got a long list of things to do. Midnight trek is a must it seems. Scuba diving also recommended there and visiting rice farms.

                  My wife reckons Dempasar is ok for a quick visit, Kuta is full of aussies but nice to visit according to her, ubud is what she is recommending at least for a couple of days. She said it is stunning and the drive up there is also beautiful

      People don't mind if you ask them to take a quick pic of the 2 of you (1 a day is plenty!). Especially when they're on hols and in a good mood!
      You get a bit more backround too, selfies are a bit boring.

        This is the thing. Honeymoon happens once in life (yes, easy simple life) - we want to take as many photos as we like. Normally we aren't too fussed about pictures - and just asking people to take a picture would do, but this is special for both of us so I was wondering if there are any other options.

        Plus my Mrs. wont do mad faces in front of the camera if someone else is taking a picture, so I rather have something which we can privately use.

                      Plus it's tax free. If you have a decent job, then you can easily invest/save money plus travel around. It's a luxuries lifestyle but you gotta take it easy as night life is bit mental here.

                        Yh my sister in law is a nurse her and my brother are going to love out there she will be 3 times better off, and I know the night life is wild but I loved it, the mix of beautiful woman out there is great too, I was especially and pleasantly surprised by the Persian/ Iranian girls, they are wild !
