Rounding off the week’s excitement, an embattled Swansea City outfit welcome West Ham United to the Liberty Stadium. The Swans are in desperate need of a pick-me-up, having recorded a solitary win in the last 12 Gameweeks. As for the Hammers, they’ll be striving for their first win in six.

Without a clean sheet over the last four Gameweeks, Swansea have charted joint-third for goals conceded (eight) and joint-fifth for shots inside the box conceded (36). Furthermore, only three sides have seen their defence breached on more occasions at home (12) than the Welsh club. Their prime shortcoming, however, is a dreadful shot-conversion rate: Swansea have racked up just three goals since Gameweek 11, drawing four blanks in six outings.

A plethora of injuries among the Irons’ attacking ranks has blunted their attack, resulting in the joint-fewest goals (two) over the last four Gameweeks – despite the fact they placed joint-sixth with Tottenham Hotspur for attempts (60). On a more positive note, West Ham conceded just one goal in their last three match-ups, so they’ll certainly fancy their chances of rebuffing Swansea’s misfiring attack.

Unlike leicester i cannot see watford keeping up this hot form especially with their fixtures, ive removed ighalo today, ive had him since gw1, and put vardy in, i also took out firmino and put in ali with a FT, i have aguero and lukaku, with vardy benched (unless fit) i think people are jumping on the ighalo bus too late! Similar to gomis but ighalos done it a while longer

I remember asking for everyones opinion on gomis early on, and many were adamant he was around for the season, the real deal, i never once had him, i feel the same will happen with ighalo sooner or later.

It's all quite simple. You have to adapt quickly every season playing FPL.
I have fallen into all the traps of gearing all future transfers to accommodate the highest priced players.
Concentrating on fixtures instead of form.
Ignoring the likes of Vardy and Ighalo all season. Costa, Hazard, Sanchez, Aguero... in/ out, in/out.

Well done if you're having a good season, I don't begrudge any of you your success for one moment.

And all the so called casuals that are winning MLs, well done to them too.

Lesson learned for next season (I hope).

Agreed. Failure to adapt to whats happening has been a common mistake for some. Also relying on reputation and last seasons form

All true but its striving to be ahead of the curve that keeps me going. If we only transfer players in after they hit form then we have missed points. Getting them before maybe a risky play but I'm convinced its the only way to actually win it. Obviously more risky way to play though.

I love to play that way too. It has absolutely failed me this year.
Coupled with the fact that it's not thaaat bad hopping on a bandwagon only a week or two late.
Better that than ignoring alltogether and ploughing on trying to find the next big thing.
When all of the big things are right under your nose 🙂

All I took from the Chelsea match is that Sunderland look truely woeful in defence.

      City really should destroy them....

True, but with history out the window this season a triple Sun defence should be the winning formula against City.

Aguero (C) for me, but that Liverpool defence today is crying out for Mahrdy (C) 😕
