Our first members piece of the week delves into the data from Gameweek 17. Everton and Leicester’s frontmen arrive under our analytical eye, as do United and Southampton’s toils up top, whilst we also turn to midfield and set our sights on Chelsea, Stoke and Villa.

West Ham maybe, but it's not looking a great week for clean sheets in most places.

Smart if you think Willian will be in your long term plans. He is facing Palace and United away after this. I have him too.

I picked Mahrez as my captain a week ago and when I went to see how many point his brace had given me, I discovered the armband on Lukaku. I must have failed to hit confirm! 🙁 I was in such a bad mood on Saturday after that. 😕

Still a lot of people here are desperate to bring in aguero when all the cheap strikers are on fire ? You never learn really.I know what aguero is capable of but he won't outscore ighalo and vardy by much in case if he even outscores them and look at the price difference.

I think the love for Kun is more about being a differential. If he scores early and the others falter it is a quick move up mini leagues.

i totally understand that but this season proves everyweek that it's the season of the casuals.even if aguero scores 3 goals, people with ighalo and vardy and kane will have a better team to cover his points easily.

You make up ground by getting points at the back.
Not by risking sound points up front.

Take a risk this week and play two Spurs defenders against Norwich (that might bag you 12 points...)

Or Try Hennessy as a second keeper in goal against Bournemouth.

            Think outside the box.

City can be the most disappointing team at home sometimes.Plus they are not in their best form and aguero can be easily substituted at 60 mins mark.

    Butland
    Kolv / Ward / Bellerin
    KDB / Walcott / Ozil / Mahrez
    Kane / Ighalo / Lukaku (C)

    Subs; McCarthy. Barkley. Wollscheid. Moreno.
    (1 FT)

I'm thinking of doing Kolv to Cresswell or Toby?

    Thoughts? Thanks

Play McCarthy against Bournemouth rather than Butland against Man U
Keep Kolv against Sunderland at home
Keep the FT and play it next Gameweek.
A FT over christmas is worth +4 points in case of any rotation / injuries

    A. Mané + Sanchez ---> Ramsey (Already Have Ozil) + KDB

Both for a -4 hit. Any seem worth it?

We've all got the same team!!

Just watched the scoutcast and they were talking about their cup opponents who have low ranks but have similar teams.

Ozil - Last 7 gameweeks has seen 1.45 million people transfer him in (me included 🙂 )
though Ramsey only has 70k in the last 2 gameweeks.

What are your thoughts? Stay with the template and hope something changes or any other ideas?

I think the 4th midfielder is where the differential comes in. Everyone has KdB, Mahrez and Ozil. it's the 4th midfielder where there are vaarious options like Barkley and Coutinho and Ramsey.

And the defence of course, it would really help if teams started keeping cleanies. I don't see a lot of potential for differentials elsewhere tbh.

I will probably break my own template team and bring Kun in while he is differential. Already have Ramsey as a midfield differential.

Can't believe people are not considering Aguero before SUN,lei, wat. Strange season going.

Fear of him breaking. The others are very consistent. You're right, 2 of those fixtures are not good. If they get 7 points from the next 3 they'll be delighted, but I see 4 points only.

Depends on your goals. It would be very nice to jump on done differentials then see the form change afterwards.

Marathon not a sprint. Mainly the template, with 2 differentials should suffice. Going all out is gung ho and could go either way. From the evidence so far, not wise.

Moved Deufelou-Ramsey, couldn't help myself. Think he's primed for some big numbers over the next month. Seems everyone is using their 4th mid to try a bit of a POD.

    DDG (Hennessy)
    Bellerin, Toby, Dawson (Moreno, Janmaat)
    Mahrez, Ozil, KDB, Ramsey (Alli)
    Lukaku, Vardy, Ighalo

5.4 ITB to maybe hold for Aguero down the track. Moreno is a bit meh but Dawson should be decent enough given a lack of clean sheets down back for many teams.

Kolarov should start. Silva and Aguero probably won't play the full game, so that leaves Pellegrini with 1 sub. So I can imagine Kolarov playing the full game and he could score big. He'll miss the Leicester game I'd think
