Settle down – the festive ScoutCast is upon us.

Like the “Three Ronnies”, Jonty, Andy and myself roll out the same old tried and trusted formula in the guise of an extended Christmas special.

We relive the painfully ordinary Gameweek 17, before girding our loins for another bout of community questions as the three us make woeful excuses for avoiding Ighalo, before debating whether the “Dullards” really have slain the “Maverick” Fantasy managers for good.

          For now, Surman to Alli. After the Norwich match this week, go Eriksen for Ramsey and then figure out if you want to go Kane to Kun or Lukaku for Kun.

      Can't see Walker and Rose being displaced, bar injuries, while they have a better attacking potential than Dier. For me, it would be Rose.
      That said, Spurs tend to concede that 1 annoying goal every time

    Start Francis (CRY) or Naughton (WBA)?

    The worry is Naughton lost his place to Rangel for a couple of games, but now Rangel is an injury doubt and WBA at home is probably the best defensive fix of the year. Not sure!

    Captaincy options

    Mahrez could be rested/rotated
    Kane could be rested/rotated
    Lukaku is a safe and solid pick vs Newcastle.
    Rambo is a safe and solid pick. But not the easiest game vs saints
    Walcott and Giroud are at risk of rotation/rest
    Ighalo is a safe and solid pick vs Chelsea.
    Vardy is a rotation/rest/injury risk
    Aguero will start. But not for 90 minutes. Worth a 'punt' vs Sunderland
    KDB is likely to start. But again - is a rest/rotation risk

    So to conclude. From my own little list; I'd say Lukaku is the safest and strongest captaincy option for the next game week.
