    Thinking of bringing in 2 Everton players for their run of good fixtures/potential Double GW, however this would give me 3 city, 3 everton 2 spurs and 2 leicester players.

    Is it a bad idea to have a team full of multiple players from the same side?

      Probably depends how many other differentials you already have I suppose. Still a way to go but that's a big target to reach.

      Then again with those fixtures he could punish you further.

      It's a big target but I always think of it the wenger way, #mathematicallyimpossible. all you need 170/16gw = around 10 more points than your rival a week. Hell you might get 20 or 30 more and bring the average down

        thats incredibly improbable thugh, to consisently beat a rival by ten points. Rhino If i were you id downgrade oscar maybe to wijn or delofeou or even someone really maverick like fiminho . If costa unfit then yes proabably would go for lukaku tbh but wouldnt get him in for a hit

    Working on a Sunday - what a nightmare, it's so quiet! Also just realised a bit of patience would have had my nearing a ton this week. Keeping Silva and captaining Aguero. A shame but won't complain....much.

        I know, I know. Extremely happy with my score of course so not moaning. Just looking at what could have been - always nice to hit 100.

        Happy for Silva out long term I think, although could be made to pay for that. Not had much luck with shipping midfielders the last couple of weeks 🙂

          🙂 That's the thing about this game, you're never gonna get every decision correct so just make sure you get more right than you get wrong and Aguero and Daniels in were definitely right moves. Great score this week mate.

        Nah you're right. Was trying to be too clever. Any other week it would have been him or Kane. Even said 2 Scoutcasts ago there was no way I was getting rid of Kane with Sunderland at home.

      It's bittersweet when you do well but still make a mistake. I planned to get in Daniels for these fixtures and felt he'd get a pen in one of them, but planning ahead for payet and his triple rise I ended up choosing Simpson for his .4 price difference. Even though I caltained Aguero it's still hard to let that one go! Just being picky though haha very glad to finally see green again !

          It was such a points swing that one. EDHID retweeted an account that said "Norwich penalty!". I was only following on Twitter.

          Next thing it pops up saying Daniels has scored. Potential 2 pointer to 15 pointer in a few minutes (at least according to Twitter)

    Anyone else think Alli was a little unlucky against Sunderland? Spurs kept trying to play narrow and Sunderland were parking the bus until Cattermole came on.

    Had a shot from 8 yards that on another day could have gone in but instead he ballooned it. If he keeps that no.10 role I'm happy to keep him for these fixtures I think.

      until yesterday the form & PPG suggested he was a decent pick regardless of price.
      i got him cheap before Xmas and so even if he sits on the bench occasionally doesn't hurt me too much.

      a missed shot yesterday probably shoots him up Jonty's goal imminent table as well !!

    Anyone here got any tips at picking a good defence ? For the life of me i just can't get it right, I'm talking clean sheets and attacking points. I am essentially carried by picking captains right, and picking good midfielders/strikers and rotating them well

        It seems like whoever i get will stop scoring attacking points , let in the one goal and always seem to get booked with one tiny foul! I need some of this luck. I'm actually 1K and that's without something i would even call a decent defense, in fact the points returns have been nothing short of awful.

      Sadly there isnt any....Tottenham and Manutd supposedly had best defence and they conceding like crazy too..its fair to say to go with some attacking talent like Daniels and Moreno..

      Play the fixtures over price, and check RMT and the clean sheet odds. You can get ok results without having to break the bank, and that's essential with Kun back in the mixer.

    I really need to start planninng this now...

    I could really do with a couple of hundred grand for the eventual signing of Sanchez, and I'm conscious that Myhill may be dropped soon (and his form is terrible anyway), so if I were to save a little on him who do we think is the best option (to be paired with Butland)?

    Bearing in mind I have both Simpson and Ward in my defence already.

    - I was leaning towards Elliot for variety, a pretty decent rotation with Butland and the biggest saving.

    - Hennessy I had considered for his impending price rise, good fixtures, but the downside being a double up on CPL when I'm losing confidence in their defence. Could do Hennessey then swap Ward > Daniels, but still nervous about CPL.

      I'm steering away from A, only because I have Simpson. If I didn't I may go down that route.

      Very tempted by C too. For me, this could mean I'd be more inclined to get Hennessey than my other option Elliot. Although I could just ditch CPL defensive assets altogether.

      What defines elite?....Seems to me that no defence is consistent enough to warrant picking, they're all up and down without rhyme or reason. Even Spurs on this "good run" are rubbish.
