Recorded minutes after the whistle blew on a miserable midweek under lights, we had no choice but to fantasise about Chips and Double Gameweeks to get us through this latest ScoutCast episode.

I’m joined by Jonty, Andy and Luke as we lament our sub 40-point tallies, moving on swiftly to lose ourselves in the thrilling, Wonka-like nonsense that lies ahead thanks to the bizarre Bench Boost FPL chip.

We come back down to earth to answer another bout of community questions, assessing the merits of City’s assets through their fluctuating form, the Payet problem and even end by revealing our modest rank expectations for the rest of the season.

    Good to go? Already used one of my two free transfers (Gosling to Sigurdsson), should I roll the other one over to next week? Was considering Targett to one of Kompany or Williams. 3.3 in the bank.

      As a Daniels owner I can recommend, however looking ahead at their fixtures they do turn a bit, after Newcastle and Swansea they play Spurs and City (then Villa), and then Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton (WBA) and Man Utd before the end, so would advise caution there. However for four of those games at least he's a good shout. Would be good to get rid of Ighalo, think his time has passed.

    Morning gents.

    Was all set to bring in Silva and Siggy this week with my 2fts...

    But then I noticed for the same money I could get Sterling and Yaya who have better odds of scoring than the aforementioned "popular picks".

    If city go nuts vs villa and Norwich the city triple up (with aguero captain) could give me a much needed boost in my ml.

    Thoughts?

      The good old "all eggs in one basket"? Don't really see that as a problem in itself, but Siggy has NOR, bou, AVL. I think that he and Silva will outscore the other two.

        At 6.5 he looks a steal in his current form. As I'd also like to get Coutinho/Firmino/Sturridge, Kun, Lukaku, Costa, Silva, Ozil, Payet, Barkley, Mata.... for the DGW, saving a couple of £ on Milner as one of my Pool attackers might do the trick.

            True, but I see him as more nailed on than Lallana, he does make good runs, is on pens and cost 1.5 less than the others. If I had the extra 1.5 to spare after getting all the other players I want from GW34 and onwards, I'd prefer the others over him, but as it stands, he looks like a good compromise. VORP and all that...
