I can imagine the authorities will investigate it further, there will be pressure but maybe it will be brushed below the carpets as it's not really beneficial for them to dig deeper

            • 12 Years
            10 years, 6 days ago

UKAD and maybe WADA will look into it but I doubt they're going to find much/anything and then they'll go back to their usual checking routines.

I have been saying it for ages that I think doping in football is rampant. The testing Is pathetic compared to athletics and cycling, and yet the rewards are far bigger. Will be interesting to see what the football implications are from tomorrow's announcements, and more importantly whether they have any ff implications!

Legislation of doping is a really tough call. Doping is absolutely trashing sport. I wish the authorities could deal with it - and in football I think that they are turning a blind eye, as they are in many sports.

It affects young amateur players who are clean. If everyone else is cheating, honest athletes will find it harder to get a professional contract.

Hi lads, I've been planning a GW36 wildcard but now thinking about unleashing it this week instead.

If I don't use my WC now, my GW34 team would hopefully be:
De Gea; Bellerin, Jagielka, Dawson; Mahrez, Ozil (TC), Payet, Firmino; Aguero, Lukaku, Welbeck.

But obviously, if I WC now, I can get Sanchez, keep Kane, and BB in GW34 like the majority. Although it would mean my last 5/6 transfers in preparation for the GW33/34 had all been for nothing!

    Thoughts people

    Cech, Robles
    Gabriel, Smalling, Sakho, Janmaat, Kirchoff
    Sanchez, Coutinho, Firmino, Payet, Lanzini
    Kun, Lukaku, Martial

0.1 short of this atm but Firmino drop will take care of that

Only have 4.3 in the Kirchoff spot and would rather have Kirchoff ready for 37 and with a game in 35 than Delaney/Ward and an extra transfer.

For all wildcarders looking for potential double risers or just risers in general, go on FFF and search by progress per hour (only works on tablet or laptop) It's by the best indicator of the market. FPL stats will show dormant players or even players slowly dropping on the first 2 pages and it can be misleading.

Ditching Kane enables Sanchez + Ozil double up....something I am considering.

Kane + one of them sounds better somehow

What if you can get KDB, Sanchez and Iwobi instead (Payet and Barkley being the other 2)?

If you activate wc that makes your transfers void and has no affect on prices. The predictions sites get broken because of this

        Wait to activate!

Drive the prices up and stop the casuals getting the transfers in next week

Well done on Alexis. Should have listened to my Mannone tip.

If I take hits now but wildcard before the deadline, do the hits still count or do they get wiped?

With Sanchez and De Bruyne scoring goals again I might be tempted to wildcard next gameweek rather than gameweek 35

Palace and Villa are probably worst teams in pl atm. Surely ManU attacking player is must have for dgw?
