There are two key lunchtime kick-offs to consider this afternoon, with Bournemouth hosting Liverpool and West Ham United making the trip to Leicester City. The Cherries will do well to stifle a Reds outfit that has discovered its attacking groove, while the Hammers could extend their unbeaten streak to eight matches with a result against Claudio Ranieri’s runaway leaders.

Bournemouth have work to do on the attacking front, given that they ranked fourth-bottom for attempts (37) and joint-third-bottom for shots on target (nine) across their previous four outings. No side shipped more goals (10) than Eddie Howe’s outfit during that period, which will be music to the ears of Fantasy managers that have invested in a Liverpool team that has amassed 18 goals in their last six match-ups.

Leicester have done just enough on the attacking front of late and relied upon their impervious defence to secure victories: the Foxes conceded zero goals and the joint-second fewest big chances (three) in their last four outings. That being said, the East Midlanders have their work cut out against a Hammers squad that ranked second for goals (10), third for attempts (67) and third for shots inside the box (41) across their previous four fixtures.

Vardy was off it for 6 games before the brace. And Leicester were looking to close out every match 1-0. Can't fault people for getting him out.

Know what? I had such a fun day yesterday (Gomes, double Man U defence & baps, Rashford, Aguero and KDB) that I can look at my team today (Migs, Milner, Coutinho, Carrol, Lanzini) and just laugh.

Oh, and there goes the clean sheet of the one player I do have! Oh well...

i would usually back this view up, but in this case ppl are refering to the amount of time, effort and planning put into gw33-37 to reap the biggest benefits and advantage that ppl who pay no attention wont..................yet here it is crashing around our ears, so the casuals win

      1. Licious Lizard

I can partially agree that People have been unlikely and People, who didn't plan at all are catching a break.

But just because you didn't choose the toute of WC GW 33, BB GW 34 does not make you a casual or lucky.

You can't say that TC Aguero or Keeping Vardy against Sunderland, West Ham and Swansea are rookie moves.

Yes some unforeseen rotations have hurt you, but to be fair the pool players have always been a rotation risk.

A long time ago I argued that a BB in 37 (if you Wanted A LOT of DGW's) wasn't a completely foolish idea, so you could keep Leicester and Tottenham players (I Ended up Selling Kane and Wimmer anyway).

Just getting tired of People whining, blaming their mistakes on other People and generally being a sour puss!

People saying why did you sell vardy

He was out of form, hadn't scored in like 10 and lukaku had a dgw

Was a logical move. The only people who kept him likely blew their wc early and got lucky

My money league rival could not afford Lukaku by selling Vardy after GW32, so he got Lukaku by selling Kane and keeping Vardy. I sold both Kane and Vardy for Lukaku and Martial. You couldn't make this up. Suits Leicester winning, is THAT kind of season. Ffs
