There are two key lunchtime kick-offs to consider this afternoon, with Bournemouth hosting Liverpool and West Ham United making the trip to Leicester City. The Cherries will do well to stifle a Reds outfit that has discovered its attacking groove, while the Hammers could extend their unbeaten streak to eight matches with a result against Claudio Ranieri’s runaway leaders.

Bournemouth have work to do on the attacking front, given that they ranked fourth-bottom for attempts (37) and joint-third-bottom for shots on target (nine) across their previous four outings. No side shipped more goals (10) than Eddie Howe’s outfit during that period, which will be music to the ears of Fantasy managers that have invested in a Liverpool team that has amassed 18 goals in their last six match-ups.

Leicester have done just enough on the attacking front of late and relied upon their impervious defence to secure victories: the Foxes conceded zero goals and the joint-second fewest big chances (three) in their last four outings. That being said, the East Midlanders have their work cut out against a Hammers squad that ranked second for goals (10), third for attempts (67) and third for shots inside the box (41) across their previous four fixtures.

Didn't have Vardy all season during his golden spell. Brought him in for about 5 weeks (lucky captain with his boot lace), bin him 2 weeks ago and hey presto.

    Sighhhhjhhh

There definitely should be more testing. Wenger's brought it up a lot this season.

Yep. But if you refer to that report of the telegraph, wenger should start testing his own team first.

I'm doing a cracking job of picking subs...

    Lovren
    Sakho
Lanzini (brought in for a hit)
    Martial
    Lukaka

But I guess I'm not on my own

Looking forward to Gabriel later 😆

I guess this is a learning experience for us all for next season...

    1. Don't fully commit to a team full of DGWers if the top two teams in the league aren't involved.

    2. Only choose players you know are 100% nailed.

I never thought Martial was nailed, I thought he'd play, but I'd have said about 75% chance. You all knew Memphis was due a chance, and when better to give him a chance than against Villa. Was never going to bench Rashford in this form. The only players from United you can guarantee will start are DDG, Smalling, Blind and Rooney when fit.

Lukaku, the same player who couldn't score against Palace and Watford, who looked like he didn't want to be there and had a yellow flag? Yeah, not nailed.

ahhh but then by being burnt this dgw you end up missing out on some great dgw in the future, bit like the hull, qpr ones ...

you win some you lose some, but imo you are better commiting and failing than avoiding

I agree, you should definitely have a good number of DGWers in there... but in future I won't be dropping the likes of Vardy/Mahrez/Kane/Alli to bring in Milner just because he has a double gameweek haha.
