      Kane 5.9 ppg
      Alli 5.1 ppg

Both great FPL players. Only Mahrez, Aguero and Ozil have a higher ppg than Kane.

Not a fan of that stat.

          Say a player makes a 1 minute cameo and gets 1pt. That's 90pts per 90 minutes played.

At least with ppg it takes into account the player's tendency to be taken off early/get injured/come off bench etc... We start our players one game at a time, not one minute at a time, if that makes sense, as a GW encapsulates a whole game.

Both awesome. Alli is like my own personal favorite underdog story, so cheap this year, next year forget about it. I think Kane is a must have from here on out. I watched a match earlier in the year when Erikson had 2 goals and they got a penalty. The classy thing to do was to let him take the penalty for the Hatty. Kane said no way and took it himself. He scored fair play. But Erikson didn't celebrate with him afterwards. You see what I'm saying? Dude is laser focused on winning the top scorer, golden boot whatever it's called. He will push to get goals to beat out Kun. Alli will help and Erikson will also because he isn't strong enough to tell Kane to F off. Just my observation.

In a decent spot atm. Just having 11 will go a long way. GW37 is the final so whoever has a chip will have a nice advantage.

Fair enough. If you pass this week, check out the chips left/players available in 35 for the 28 or so left to see how well you compare.

After all my years of playing this game I have never seen DGW rotation quite like this one. A perfect storm of european involvement and chips have conspired against us. Meant having to WC early before we knew certain european results.

Can you find anyone in the top10k with about a grey arrow with a score of around 77 if that is actually the average.

Seems unsual, is it just the fact that it's DGW and some people are scoring very low and pushing the top10k average down more than usual?

I find it interesting that a lot of ppl on here are struggling this season and blaming others on this site for bad moves. But last season when I was in school full time and working full time, I barely had time to go on this site and I ended up in the top 90k. This season, only school to worry about, I've been on here about an hour per week and I'm in the top 1k. I'm surprised ppl on here aren't doing as well.

Looking at the overall points table would suggest its been a very unpredictable season. Probably suits people who don't spend as much time over thinking things this time around.

I definitely think about my moves a bit too much but overly. I notice when I truly think too much, it's during the beginning of the season or when I'm wildcarding.

Yeah, but it only takes a couple right captain calls to make a decent season. Luckily I captained Kun against Newcastle, KDB against Sunderland, and Kane against Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

So I'm leading in my Classic ML by 2 points. I uniqely have DDG, Bellerin, Sakho, Gabriel, Lanzini, Coutinho. He has Robles, Monreal, Iwobi, and Firmino. We share Sanchez(c), Lukaku and Payet.

Hopefully I put distance between us. Could be interesting though.

Getting Kane back will require -4. Martial is gone.

    To complete:

    Mitrovich to Defoe

    De Bruyne to Alli

    Both for -8?

Has the same plan but I'll wait, maybe KDB to Alli first if you really doubt KDB would play 35.

If you have to sell Martial to fund Kane then why not?

DGW or not would you not rather have Kane from 35 to the end?

Great schedule and in blazing form.

I'm sitting on 97 with a bunch left and Sanchez (C) so in reality this week hasn't been as bad as we make it out to be.

    Thoughts on:

    Lukaku>Pelle (playing Villa away) and...

Im in a similar situation - WC still to play and looking for a 1-week punt. Pele is certainly tempting. Im likely to go with either him or Ulloa (for Lukaku). Firmino (for Payet) is also an option.

So what does your front line look like? I need to get this right.

        Aguero xxxx xxxx

Currently on Mitro and Studge. But there are cases for Defoe and obviously Kane. Mitro > Defoe is easy, getting Kane back requires losing one of Ozil, Sanchez, Payet. For example Ozil > Alli, Mitro > Kane. That would leave me with 8 doublers. But they include Liverpool rotational nightmares of Sakho Milner and Sturridge.

Californian here. Have been a lifelong fan of the sport but only seriously played fantasy PL since 13/14 season.

I think unique ownership and shared ownership each have their pros and cons but I find this model with a built-in economy from transfers to be far more interesting and strategic.

Also I wouldn't say the Brits are smart 😉

I think the cost constraints are what makes this awesome. Read awhile back that vets of FPL were annoyed this year since a lot of bargain priced players were consistently good. Whatevers. It's still really hard to make crucial line up decisions week in and out. One thing I have noticed is captain calls are a real differential point and you can't use bookie odds as gospel because they hedge like crazy and don't take mid fielder scoring into effect. I think it tends to skew preferences towards forwards, but as a rookie maybe I just don't know what I am talking about, which is probably (definitely) the case.

Just being there and seeing the culture and how much the ppl cared for their teams made a huge impression on me. In U.S. sports, teams get rewarded for poor results (high draft picks); in England, teams get relegated.

Yeah agreed. I am definitely not one to question anything on this site as a non member (and nice job seriously FFS peeps on the transition, very well handled) but the Paddy Power stuff appealed to me when I was first starting out since it felt good as a crutch but after awhile looking at it you realize it's a con and the site seems less impressive for promoting these con artists. But again I did find initial value so it was helpful for awhile.

Many articles have been written over the years about how bookie odds are quite pointless when it comes to predicting FPL returns. I'm no expert on the subject but most certainly don't put too much weight into bookie odds. Clean sheets are probably the most useful though I find.

this. My buddy who has been playing this for years has never scratched the top 100k and he loves using bookie odds to justify his picks. I personally just come on here and listen to what ppl have to say about players, whether they've looked good, lively, blah blah blah.
