Then split the difference and take a -4 or -8 at most to address your risks and make a good TC pick.

Aguero didn't play only player to come in for him is Wes Morgan as Firmino was first sub and Sakho is third is it possible that he will get auto subbed in for Aguero and auto change my formation to 4-4-2?

I think you will be missing out on some of the complexity of the game that way.

Just imagine the satisfaction as your defender gets a red card in the 59th minute! Or your forward misses a penalty

The 13 yo is a black lab, in fine fettle, I thought she'd go first but not showing any recognised Lab defects so far.

The 14 yo is a collie/ red setter mix. She's had respiratory problems recently and a prolapsed spine 2 years ago but still as beautiful as ever. Back in her day she floew around the Curragh catching rabbits and she looks like Beyonce too...

They have both got 5 runs a week over all those years on here --->

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curragh It's dog heaven, loads of open space and rabbit chasing.

I walk/ jog/ cycle with them. Big dogs need big love. I don't get people that have big dogs and dont exercise them.

Can't believe how lucky I got picking Mane over Pelle. Seemed nothing between them two weeks ago, and now Mane has 26 more points in two weeks. Partly down to him I've caught up 100 points in the last two weeks on my ML leader, now winning by 2. Mental.

Anyway, what do people think of a Defoe, Carroll, Deeney frontline?

With Howard needing 2 to reach 400 EPL games he will probably play GW38 at home and maybe one of the other s (or be subbed on late).

I'd rather pick up a few DGW players. Something like Daniels for PVA or Smalling, and Kane for Defoe (or Alli for Khazri, or Sanchez for Hazard).

Yeah, for me. Redmond's stats have been very underwhelming lately. Brady might be the better pick if you are set on a Norwich mid.

how many hits should i take for this dgw?

    Robles

    Martial - Kun - Kane

        Have 3 x whu

        Alli > firmino

Wait for the Pool game, if they get pipped then Sturridge and Coutinho could be relevant again.

Deeney is the obvious in-form choice!

What other West Ham players do you have? I think you could do better than Noble. Don't let this week trick you. He's a fine player but an inconsistent FPL asset.

to think i considered him on a wc, what a masterstroke that would have been. i have payet and carroll, whats the next best option? lanzini isnt nailed, antonio playing full back, perhaps i look at willian or pedro instead?

Pedro is interesting. See how things go tomorrow.

Other options are Willian, Khazri, or one of the Liverpool mids if you feel you get some clarity later this week.

ehh i rate liverpool, but not the minutes they are likely to get. staying well clear. ill likely look at pedro whos a bit more explosive than willian; who is a bit more consistent. ill see what tomorrow brings

Took a -12. Sakho, Rojo, KDB, Alli > PVA, Cresswell, Lanzini, Hazard.

Lanzini was an enabler and was on bench ready for next week but ended up coming in for Aguero. Moreno and Otamendi (0) were the other 2 subs. So it looks like I'm going at least break even needing just 2 points from Hazard. It's worked out like 4 free transfers and 4 dead woods out for 4 doublers. Cool story (not) and all that but I'm genuinely chuffed to have set myself with like a mini Wilcdard ready for next week 🙂 Sometimes, hits are worth it lads.

They become very addictive, I think next season I'm gonna take as many as I want in the first 8 weeks. Gain high TV and then stabilise and hold rank, taking no hits until the doubles late on.

Getting rid of players who aren't playing for those that are and have a dgw is going work out 95% of the time. Hardly a surprise.

It gets tricky when you are taking a hit for someone who has one game for a dgwer, very hard to say

      1. Jay_
        10 years, 3 months ago

Yes but the double is next week, was expecting a red this week followed by a huge green next. To get a green arrow after a -12 the week before a double is nice

Did anyone watch the Arsenal-Norwich game? Nathan Redmond is a serious contender for the DGW, was in great spots and if not for 2 excellent saves from Cech could have had a brace. With Norwich fighting for survival this could be the differential!

I wouldn't rush it because the Sturridge move could be terribly regretful by later this week. You might be better off with Defoe or Deeney or Costa anyway.

There's no reason you can't wait. Letting go of Ozil instead of Mahrez allows you to wait if you end up wanting Costa or Sturridge (and price rises occur).

You've already got Sanchez, and there's nothing to say you can't get Ozil back for GW38 if you want to. I just don't think it's prudent to make your moves just yet.
