Gameweek 36 culminates with a showdown at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea look to end Tottenham’s bid for the title.

The Blues prepared for this one with a comprehensive 4-1 win over Bournemouth last time out and with a double Gameweek 37 just around the corner, tonight’s match affords an early scouting opportunity as we fine-tune out plans ahead of the weekend’s deadline.

Of the two sides, though, it’s Spurs who boast the greatest goal threat ahead of a match they need to win in order to keep their slim chances of clinching the Premier League intact.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men lead their hosts by 75 shots to 46 over their respective last four – a tally bettered only by Liverpool (80) – whilst the visitors have also offered a far superior close-range threat, racking up 43 attempts inside the box to Chelsea’s 31.

In terms of defensive data, Spurs again impress more than the deposed champions, who have managed a single clean sheet in ten Gameweeks – against Aston Villa. The visitors have afforded the opposition just 25 efforts inside the box – a tally bettered by just four other defences – with Chelsea not too far back on 30.

Whilst Foxes fans will be hoping for a title-winning favour from Guus Hiddink’s side, then, the numbers suggest that the visitors still have reason for optimism as they look to keep the race for the crown alive for at least one more round of fixtures.

Bulls**t, he had no chance. Players want to learn how to control themselves.

He is paid to control the game, he completely lost control with the way he handled it that is why it ended up getting out of hand.

Did he once call the captains over to talk to them to get the players to setttle down?

He should have sent Dier off. He looked anxious to keep all 22 on.
But hard to say what else he could have done.
Players need to take the blame. I think he did ok

Tempted to bring in Spton players now. Spurs could be without 5 first team players
    Kane, dembele, lamela, Toby, Ali.
Dier should also be banned for his terrible tackles

Let's ask this a different way...

Which scores more for the DGW...

    A) Simpson (EVE) & Carroll (SWA MUN) +4
    B) Cresswell (SWA MUN) & Defoe (CHE EVE)

Or... Pick A, and an alternative DGW defender (no Utd/Eve) for the hit

Likely gonna wait till Thursday night but I'm tempted to to this:

    Aguero & Alli
    To
    Sturridge & Hazard

    Yay or nay?

I think Kun will be driven to win golden boot, Kane apparently may have a red, also just lost out on the title causing low morale, with a bunch of his players possibly to be missing out as well pending fa action.

looked more like an injury brought on by himself.. nothing in the challenge or his fall. realized they had lost the title and he wanted off. my opinion anyway, didnt look like a bad fall

He has speeded up his fitness and is playing for the Euros, that is enough motivation for Hiddink to get him the chance to flourish.

When he came on he looked very lively, just like last game. I dont think he will be benched again, Pedro off Hazard on, 2 goals to the good. cant see any reason for him to be sidelined.

Have front 8 of: Payet, Sanchez, Coutinho, Firminho, Townsend; Kane, Kun, Martial.

Currently benching Sanchez. 4 DGWers, but... Liverpool

Would any one change this to get additional DGW players? Which?

I only have Defoe instead of Martial, rest is identical. Also have Sanchez on the bench.
My plan was to get PVA+Reid for Sakho+Simpson but not sure now. Maybe I'll get Hazard or I'm selling Kane no idea...
