Gameweek 36 culminates with a showdown at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea look to end Tottenham’s bid for the title.

The Blues prepared for this one with a comprehensive 4-1 win over Bournemouth last time out and with a double Gameweek 37 just around the corner, tonight’s match affords an early scouting opportunity as we fine-tune out plans ahead of the weekend’s deadline.

Of the two sides, though, it’s Spurs who boast the greatest goal threat ahead of a match they need to win in order to keep their slim chances of clinching the Premier League intact.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men lead their hosts by 75 shots to 46 over their respective last four – a tally bettered only by Liverpool (80) – whilst the visitors have also offered a far superior close-range threat, racking up 43 attempts inside the box to Chelsea’s 31.

In terms of defensive data, Spurs again impress more than the deposed champions, who have managed a single clean sheet in ten Gameweeks – against Aston Villa. The visitors have afforded the opposition just 25 efforts inside the box – a tally bettered by just four other defences – with Chelsea not too far back on 30.

Whilst Foxes fans will be hoping for a title-winning favour from Guus Hiddink’s side, then, the numbers suggest that the visitors still have reason for optimism as they look to keep the race for the crown alive for at least one more round of fixtures.

So will Spurs fold into depression with Kane double red card and four own goals or be fired up into finishing above Arsenal and grab Kane two double hat tricks across the final two GW's?

if you were this guy you;d just do Sanchez to Hazard wouldn't you?

That puts me off going Carroll and Hazard as I'd be chasing down 30 points with practically the same team

Cresswell yes, Hazard yes for double week but you might want Sanchez back in for Villa next weekend. Not sure about Noble unless they get penalties. He likes a yellow card too. I'd choose Lanzini ahead of Noble.

Cheers Harry, we've been tight since I brought you in for GW 11 vs Villa, which seemed like a punt at the time. Appreciate the goal tonight before all the chicanery and don't think I didn't notice you tracking all the way back to close down Hazard when you could. You're a straight up hustler, and I'm sure we'll have some good times next season but for now, I gotta go see about a DGW forward...

With all the MFs in form, he's bound to get some service. Got an assist as well, tonight.

Congrats Foxes. Truly remarkable stuff. Couldn't make it up.

        Now back to business...

        OUT: Kane, Rose, Lanzini, KdB
        IN: Carroll, Cresswell, Hazard, Milner/Coutinho

-12 but chasing ML leader and it's now or never. Can't get Sturridge or Firmino as ML rival has them.

Yay or nay? (and if 'yay' Milner or Coutinho?)

        Already have Hazard.
Really want Costa but then I don't think there are much options for me to replace KdB/Milner.
SO I may have to get Fab for one of them and then one of Sturridge/Deeney/Carroll for Kane.

        TFM, KdB/Milner, Kane -> Cresswell, Fabregas, Styrridge/Deeney/Carroll for -8?
