A lot of us still have Kane and Augero and are pondering which one to shift for a DGW striker.

    Kane
    1. Just lost league so maybe team is not motivated
    2. Going for golden boot. He is 2 goals ahead of Augero on 25
    3. Was he involved in fighting at the end of the Chelsea match?
    4. Southampton H and Newcastle A - Southampton in form and Newcastle could still be battling

    Augero
    1. CL on Wednesday and then Arsenal at home only 4 days after. They need some points to secure 4th and it's Pelle last game at home. If they make it through the CL final is some way off. Should play
    2. Last game is Swansea away which could be a goal fest or the real Swansea might turn up
    3. Two behind Kane for golden boot

Kane WILL be motivated. Arsenal in their rear view mirror

Could be a real differential keeping both.

Sturridge and Carroll both at risk of being rotated

Call me a nutter but I just thought of selling Aguero and Kane for double game week mavericks Deeney and Defoe. Am I crazy? It would create 13 mill ITB.

I think Kun is the one to ship. Uncertain minutes and up against a decent well rested Arsenal defence. Would be concerned about losing Kane - looked dangerous last night.

Don't see Kun exploding against Arsenal and can be brought back in 38 if need be.

Fifteen behind in my minileague now.

    My team:

    De Gea*, Cech
    Azpilicueta*, Fuchs, Simpson, Daniels, Monreal
    Mahrez, Payet*, Lanzini*, Sanchez, Alli
    Sturridge*, Kane, Martial*

    His team:

    Lloris, Rudd
    Alderweireld, Clyne*, Bellerin, Ward, Daniels
    Sanchez, Arnautovic, Mahrez, Payet*, Firmino*
    Aguero, Rashford*, Defoe*

So I've got six for the doubles, he has five (six if you include Rudd but he hasn't played in months). I also have my triple captain left. I'm thinking of doing Alli and Kane to Hazard and Carroll for a -4 to give me eight double gameweek players. Does this seem like a solid plan? And of those eight, who would you triple captain?

100-1. It won't happen of course because we won't have the squad to sustain the effort on so many fronts - but to play in that competition is a wonderful achievement in itself.

    1ft, 0.5 in the bank.

    DDG* Mannone*

    Sanchez KDB Iwobi Payet* Cout*
    Aguero Kane Rashford*

1FT no cash ... so looking at -4 at least for any moves.

    B) Just bring one and use TC - which players?

In my case, I would do according to my position in ML.
If you rival doesn't have Mahrez, just keep Mahrez on your bench. Benching a DGWer for him isn't really tempting.
          So has to be Sanchez/Townsend/Mahrez.
          I'm currently on sanchez bench

70 points gap to the leader.

Both got the triple captain chip left.

Only Agüero and Payet in both our teams.

BB on this team this GW. Are there any better transfers to do than Bellerin > Smalling?

    DDG/Ruddy

I'd rather keep Bellerin for GW38 v Villa. Utd's defence away is not all that, and you already have DDG.

Keep an eye on Firmino minutes in the Europa would be my advice.

Apologies for this long post. Maybe not an easy one to answer, but I'd appreciate any opinions the community has:

My ML opponent, 8 points ahead:

    Courtois - Fabianski
    Bellerin - Cresswell - Alderweireld - Huth - Dann
    Coutinho - Milner - Mahrez - Antonio - King
    Aguero - Kane - Carroll

My proposed GW37 team (-4 hit):

    Gomes
Fuchs - van Aarnholt - Simpson
Hazard* (TC) - Payet (VC) - Townsend - Lanzini
    Aguero - Carroll* - Sturridge

    Hart - Sanchez - Bellerin - Gabriel

He has WC and BB, but clearly can't play both this week. His previous ranks (310,995 & 132,078) suggests he's a decent but unspectacular player). I have only TC remaining.

It's on a knife-edge isn't? Hard to even identify if I've been maverick enough to ovehaul him when he could WC this week.

    Any thoughts at all?

Tell me about it! No one anywhere close to us. A straight shoot-out.

Suppose there's no point going big on hits, when I've no idea who he could WC in.

TC is far from set in stone. Also looking at Payet/Carroll/Sturridge

His team clearly looks tailor-made for a WC. An expensive defense can be easily sorted out to line-up a strong front 8. Clearly seems to favor West Ham. Can expect Carroll or Payet (post transfer) to be his captain imo.

Tough tough tough. I have a similar dilemma in a close league. Personally looking at your team I don't think there are any other moves out there that would be anything but punts. So I think your going to have to sit back and hope your players take their chances, it really could go either way.

That's my view too. Not a lot of point taking a few hits when I have not idea what his team will look like post-WC. I could actually reduce my differentials.

    5. Larry Legend

      Rival (no chips):
      DDG, Lloris
      Morgan, Huth, Smalling, Bellerin, Williams
      Hazard, Siggy, Sanchez, Mahrez, Iwobi
      Kane, Lukaku, Rashford

Me (26 point lead, TC remaining):
      DDG (Darlow)
      PVA, Simpson, Koscielny (Gabriel, Fosu-Mensah)
Payet (TC), Milner, Mahrez, Sanchez (Alli)
      Carroll, Aguero, Kane

      A) Aguero, Alli & Fosu-Mensah > Defoe, Hazard & Smalling (possibly TC Hazard)
      B) Aguero & Alli > Defoe & Hazard
      C) Sanchez > Hazard
      D) Any other

Personally, I think you're well placed there, but it's clearly far from done.

I'd probably do A. Blocks the Smalling and Hazard DGW, and I don't fancy Koscielny to score well against City. Is that a -8?

I'd keep Sanchez for GW38 v Villa, not only to block buy also because he could grab a haul.

I agree mate. Those are players that could easily score 15-20+ points in a DGW.

I think the really big one is who to TC! I'll be thinking about this all week!

Agreed. Same for me, especially when I'm chasing. Could be the season defining decision.... 😐

Is 43 points too large of a gap to pull back? 🙁

I have BB next week with a -8/-12 and he has TC with maybe a hit

I don't think so. Tough but far from impossible.

How many key differentials do you have though?

What do you think of mine ^

Definitely not. I outscored some rivals by 100 points in GW34. A good BB on a DGW can be fantastic, whilst he could TC fail. There is to hoping anyway.

Reckon hazard will actually play both? Nothing to play for and Oscar watching from the bench concerns me.

Yeah it's questionable. When Oscar is on the bench though, he should be on pens.

    or

Kane/Aguero, Alli, Sakho > Defoe & Hazard, PVA for -8?
