Surprisingly, more World Cup Fantasy managers are backing Aleksandr Kolarov (£5.5m) and his Serbia team-mates than Switzerland in tonight’s evening kick-off.

Kolarov, scorer of Serbia’s only goal against Costa Rica in Gameround 1, will be on free-kicks again and has 7.8 percent of McDonald’s FIFA World Cup Fantasy players invested in him for Gameround 2.

But the most popular asset for the match is midfielder Nemanja Matic (£5.5m) with eight percent ownership. That’s despite the Manchester United being involved in just one goal during qualifying.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (£7.0m)’s performance will be of interest to 6.7 percent of managers after he impressed against Costa Rica. The three chances he created was the joint-most of any midfielder in the opening round of Group E matches.

Meanwhile, Switzerland’s penalty-taking defender Ricardo Rodriguez (£5.5m) sits in just 2.2 percent of squads. The AC Milan left-back netted three spot-kicks in qualifying and added another two assists. With VAR ensuring a higher number of penalties at this tournament, he is certainly one to watch this match.

The most popular asset in the Swiss squad is substitute goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo (£4.0m), whose 2.7 percent ownership is almost certainly based on his budget price.

Despite Xherdan Shaqiri (£8.5m) creating the same number of chances as Milinkovic-Savic in Gameround 1 and assisting Stephane Zuber’s (£6.5m) headed equaliser against Brazil, he sits in just 1.8 percent of squads.

Did the same thing regarding Uzoho (but with Almaiouf instead of Gellese).

Luckily I haven't changed my captain yet or made any manual subs so autosubs will kick in and Uzoho will come on for Almaiouf - downside being that I miss out on the potential hauls of JRod + Sakai + Inui.

Nah you are not a coward.

You can lose 3 if he blanks.

      Gain 1 if he scores.

So really unless you think the ceilings higher sticking is the mathematical move for sure.

Yeah that's swayed me. If I switch and Lukaku blanks it's 3 points lost. If he scores a hatty and I had stuck, that's 9 points lost. I can live with losing 3. Could also (c) Meunier but meh so many penalties.

    A) James ➡️ Coutinho/Mueller
    B) Eriksen ➡️ Coutinho/Mueller

Just saw what Neymar did trying to win a pen. First thing is FIFA must follow the PL in banning the players for diving, the second thing is, if there’s anyone I’d wish to get injured, it’s him.

    1. Deulofail
      • 10 Years
      8 years, 1 month ago

There was contact. Didn't look like a dive to me. No pen, no nothing. Carry on.

      1. Louis_Sans_Balls
        • 8 Years
        8 years, 1 month ago

last time i checked football was a contact sport just because their the slightest bit of contact doesn't entitle a player to make a meal out of it. I agree that simulation should be punished as equally as dishing pens. So at the least he should have been shown a card. Otherwise there's always badminton 🙂

        1. Deulofail
          • 10 Years
          8 years, 1 month ago

You shouldn't be punished for going to ground after contact. That's not a bookable offence. It's not even an offence. Besides, the sport is a bit of a contact sport regarding the playable body parts, but not the arms. If we played by the letter of the law, it should have been a pen, as the guy used his arms to block Neymar. But a bit of common sense and judgment, and we can see that it's not enough for a pen. But that doesn't automatically entail that Neymar should be punished. The ref clearly changed his mind because the contact wasn't enough, so there's an amount of contact which would have made it a foul, even if it still wasn't enough to take Neymar out. The act of going down after contact should never be punished, because we all know that players don't get the fouls unless they do go down, and many of us wouldn't complain if a foul is given on the basis of a player going down, even if they've gone down after the challenge to force the decision. People just love to hate Neymar.

Sorry for the rant. It was unintentional, and I'm making food so rushing to get my ideas down and post them. 🙂

There was contact as strong as the landing of a fly. No sane person ever has naturally fallen because of that.

England teams have cold shouldered the press many times before, it makes no difference. When they play well they love them, when they don't they get shredded. If they ban one reporter/photographer it makes no difference, the next chance another one has at a story/photo op like that they will take it without any forethought.
