World Cup Transfer Tips: The Big Numbers – Groups E-H

England’s set-piece stars could be good forms of investment ahead of the Gameround 3 deadline for World Cup Fantasy.

The Three Lions have done particularly well from dead-ball situations and the underlying statistics suggest that trend could continue even against Belgium.

Elsewhere, we’ve unconvered how Serbia might be able to exploit some weaknesses in Brazil’s side while Philippe Coutinho is also recording some encouraging numbers.

Group F’s final set of matches looks hard to call on the surface but the World Cup data has provided some pointers on how to get Fantasy points from them.

We’ve managed to pull out some excellent budget differentials in Group H.

Our Members can read on and have a look at the key statistics we’ve analysed to help make transfers for Gameround 3.

World Cup Data

We’re delighted to offer World Cup data as an early addition to our regular season offering to help those playing Fantasy games over the summer.

We’ve secured Opta data, not only for the tournament itself, which begins on June 14 but also from the Qualifying Rounds for Europe and South America and for international friendlies involving the participating nations. This includes all the matches played right up to the tournament kick-off.

Just to stress, this World Cup offering comes packaged with the regular Fantasy Football Scout membership.

Check out this new trailer previewing the World Cup content below…

      CR7

      Reasons?

      1. Best player in the world
      2. Doesn't bottle big pressure games without his barca team mates
      3. Proven tournament player

That “proven tournament player” barely scored in the WC before this one. I know that Argentina’s performances make it very easy to clown on one person but let’s not forget all the years before this World Cup.

Ronaldo - Sporting, United, Real and Portugal - great in all of those. True winner that can turn things around and motivate those around him.

Messi - one club wonder who sulks when things dont go his way in national team

Anything immediately obvious that is wrong with this bunch? Wildcarding and probably will use bench boost so think I may downgrade a midfielder to upgrade the goalkeepers.

    Ben Mustapha, Uzoho
    Kimmich, Ramos, Carvajal, Rodriguez, Akanji
    Mueller, Rodriguez, Coutinho, Isco, Inui
    Salah, Reus, Khazri

    Any suggestions?

How come ditch Ramos? I actually just got in Sommer after seeing he was 5m so tripling up on the swiss. With Draxler and Ozil not starting I think Mueller will be on pens so I think I will keep the faith even though he has done nothing.

With Boateng suspended, I don't think he'd want to keep chopping and changing a team that won - just about. So Hummels in the only defensive change imo
