The release of Fantasy Premier League’s price list for 2019/20 could see Seamus Coleman (£5.5m) become the go-to Everton defender over the summer.

Lucas Digne (£6.0m) had originally been the target for the Toffees’ appealing early-season fixtures, but many were a little surprised that he received such a hefty price-tag.

In this latest Members article, we weigh up the two Everton full-backs against each other to see which can provide the best value from Gameweek 1 of the new campaign.

As this uses data from our Members area, you will have to sign up in order to view it.

What effect do the new prices have?

Yeah definitely I had him in my team at this stage last year and then by gameweek 1 I decided not to go with him then he had a terrific start!!!! Same with Fraser too

Good team, really like the Vardy pick i'm considering it as well. Could be a good differential as think a lot of people will swerve him due to their opening fixtures. I don't like Trippier though as have been burned in the past although not great choice at that price range. Hopefully Wan or Shaw emerge as options though but need to wait and see if Man U learn now to keep cleanies!

Yeah I like having Vardy in there mate you know what you get from him!! Totally agree with Trippier too he could be Shaw or equally if we know Zinchenko is first choice it would more likely be him too

I'm on something very similar but don't like Trippier so I've gone,

      Ederson
      VVD Coleman Ake Dunk
      Salah Sterling Siggy Mili/Zaha
      Vardy King

      0.5itb currently too.

I quite like that!! Ake interests me too!! Would be a bit worried about playing Dunk every week even tho the fixtures aren’t too back, hopefully with a new manger their clean sheets can improve, end of last season was dreadful apart from Wolves Away

Anyone looking at Gros? If Potter can get him back to his best form like we saw in his first season then he could be a superb differential to start with. The pros are that he’s supposedly on set pieces(?) if he starts, and Brighton’s fixtures are quite plum to start with at least. The obvious cons are it’s unknown if Potter will start him, and Brighton are pretty dire. They also found goals extremely hard to come by during the last 10 games last season. For £6.5m he’s definitely on my radar though.

Only reason I have Vert right now, is the nice run of fixtures (City aside). Would like to upgrade Deulofeu, but that would require downgrading in defence, midfield – or Vardy, possibly.

AFCON final is on July 19.
If Egypt plays it, will Salah start va Norwich?

I guess he will/should be entitled 3 weeks of holidays, right? Would mean one big week of training only before season starts... right?

He wouldn't need any more than that. No way will they start the season without him or Mane if they are not injured

He will start for sure.. Liverpool will be going all out to win the league from the start after last year.

Not starting Salah for ONE home game vs NOR wouldnt prevent them from - hypothetically - winning the league

Yeah and if either Salah or Mane get burned out from the start or get injured a la KDB after the World Cup (partly due to not enough rest) then they can wave goodbye to 2nd in the league let alone 1st...

Their early fixtures are very kind and they can introduce them slowly to the campaign and even rotate them simultaneously (so that one of them plays every week)

In the event of a (very unlikely) final between Egypt and Senegal (who are almost out I think), Id defo triple Pool def

Nah they're still on course. If they beat Kenya then they'll finish second. Likely to play Uganda in R16, and Morocco in the QF, so as long as they improve then same applies.

But, if Senegal go out early Mane is nailed in my side. Would make it even more likely for Salah to get an extended rest.

Which pairing do you think is best?

    A Vardy and KDB or
    B Jota/Deulofeu and Sterling

Salah and Mane burn out concerns? They will be playing non-stop from start of the season to July 19th. Surely they will get 2-3 weeks off post that and in danger to miss the opening weekend if not more.

Bit concerning yeah, might have their minutes managed a bit, but will probably be fine.

That's exactly why I'm going without both and introducing them on an early WC once they're both sure of starts.

That's my thought currently too, let's see how it plays out. But it would be silly of Liverpool to rush them back early and risk injury/ fatigue.. I would imagine their first pre-season friendly to be the Euro Super Cup.

They had a holiday in between the champions league final and the start of the tournament and if either of them do make the final it will still give them time for a break. I’m sure they will be fine

Yeah they had a holiday before meeting up with there national teams. I know what you mean and tournament football in the summer is never ideal. Just my opinion but I think they will be fine. Good luck

Villa, Newcastle, Palace, Southampton, Watford first 5 home fixtures - captaincy material and hope for a goal here and there away.

Aye, he's only ever got the one EPL goal in August, still it's Kane so he's awfully tempting.

I don't really like any mids under £6.5m, but if I had to choose a £5m I'd prefer Jorginho or Noble - both of which are on pens I think.

If he was £5m, yes. But I wouldn't pay £5.5m for any Utd defender.

      Don’t think so

Doubt he’ll attract baps through tackles and intercepts as United defend much less than Palace did. His distribution is only so so and attacking returns dubious.
