FPL Gameweek 15 Captain Pick and Stat Attack

Your perfect guide to pick the perfect captain pick for FPL Gameweek 15.

With the first mid-week Premier League matchday of the season, choosing your perfect captain pick becomes even more important.

Our stat attack will help you in finding that perfect fit to boss your mini leagues.

Jamie Vardy’s having a party!
  • Leicester City have won all 10 of their Premier League home games against Watford, scoring 10 goals in the process and conceding just one.
  • Watford have never won a Premier League game on a Tuesday, drawing 4 and losing 11 of their 15 games.
  • Since Brendan Rodger’s first Premier League game in charge, back in March 3rd 2019, Jamie Vardy (£9.9m) has scored 22 goals, six more than any other player in that time in the league.

With all these mouth watering stats, the question arises could we even Triple Captain Vardy, against a Watford side that is looking a sure shot relegation favourite for this season.

Kevin De Bruyne vs Burnley
  • Burnley have won just one of their 10 Premier League meetings with Manchester City (D3, L6).
  • None of Burnley’s last 14 Premier League home games have ended in a draw.
  • Kevin De Bruyne (£10.2m) has been involved in more Premier League goals than any other Manchester City player this season. (13 Goals, 9 Assists)
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang
  • Arsenal have NEVER lost a home match against Brighton in any competition, winning six and drawing two.
  • Since beating Watford 3-0 away on the opening day of the season, Brighton are without a win in six league away games.
  • Aubameyang (£10.9m) gave Arsenal the lead inside 10 minutes in both Premier League meetings with Brighton last season.
Danny Ings vs Norwich
  • Southampton have lost just ONE of their last 13 home games against Norwich in all competitions. (W8, D4)
  • Danny Ings (£6.2m) has scored in his last three Premier League games for Southampton.
  • Southampton’s last 10 Premier League goals have been scored by either Danny Ings (6) or James Ward Prowse (4).

Nice write up! Six more goals than any other player! That's really impressive for Vardy.

I think this is maybe as good as it gets for now, in terms of using the triple captain in a single game week - only downside maybe is having a game so quickly after the last one, but then again they haven't had Europe to contend with.

    1) Pope -> Guaita/Henderson worth a -4? 0 FT's & 1.5 ITB
    2) Feels bad to bench Lundstram, but I should right?

    Pope
    TAA - Söyüncü - Robertson
    Mané - KDB - Maddison - Zaha
    (V)ardy - Jiménez - Ings

    (Button, Lundstram, Cantwell, Tomori)
