How to use teams’ specific weaknesses to pick the right FPL assets

Despite selling Jamie Vardy (£10.3m) for a hit on Friday, Gameweek 12 turned out to be a pretty good one for me.

After taking my second minus four of the season to accommodate Mohamed Salah (£12.3m), I returned a total of 70 points and as a result, now sit 202,736th overall, with my Wildcard still intact.

So, as focus turns to Gameweek 13, I’m going to have a look at where teams have been conceding most of their chances from this season, in the hope of identifying one or two transfer targets for the Christmas period. 

I’ll then have a closer look at some of the players who stood out, and also discuss plans going forward.

WHERE TEAMS CONCEDE THE MOST CHANCES FROM

Using data from the Premium Members Area, I’ve had a look at where each team is most susceptible to conceding chances. This is something I like to keep track of during the season, in an attempt to find out which fantasy options can exploit those weaknesses.

        This is intriguing to me especially as I intend to bring in Bamford when I wildcard three weeks from now. Watkins has better fixtures until that point.

            This is my plan for the next week or two, to come off Vardy or DCL. Vardy gives me more options cash-wise but I don’t want to come off while he’s returning, and would need to be DCL to a 5.8 striker if I want Barkley to Grealish. Looking to just use one transfer this week and roll the other to next week and hope that my decision becomes an easier one!

      Don't fancy anyone else in that price. Allows for a lot of flexibility. You can even use him as a bench player later if necessary without having to swithc him out

      I have it currently. If your TV isn't high, it makes your bench ridiculously weak. I will drop one for Son to improve bench in a few weeks. But I feel alright about it so far.

        What's your lineup if you don't mind sharing? My TV is quite high so like the look of it...team would be;

        McCarthy
        Chilwell, Dallas, Balbuena
        Salah, KDB, Fernandes, Grealish
        Kane, Bamford, Adams

        Forster, Taylor, Poveda, Mitchell.

        Involves losing Vardy, DCL & Son for me...
