I think ESR could do really well. He'll hopefully start most games in the no.10 position and will hopefully get more involved in goals and assists as a result. He was very good towards the end of last season and has now signed a new contract,

4 out of chillwells 6 first games are the worse fixtures they could be. I've actually got him benched 5 out of the first 6 games... then he comes in until GW 13, then replaced by shaw for GW 14 onwards

He played so advanced when KDB was injured. Dropped much deeper when De Bruyne returned. I think he's a good short term punt if Kev is out but when he's in the side I don't really fancy Gundo.

Has to be B to start. Sancho has to show he can do it in PL.

Surely B to start. I can see A being a better combo later in the season. With B you get 2 sure starters for the start of the season. Is Sancho going to be good to go for the first game? Spurs + Son without Kane last season went through a huge dry spell for attacking returns. Kane most likely not available for the first game or even the full season if he gets transferred. Just too much uncertainty with the Sancho + Son combo early on.

I would move some money from the bench to the starting 11.

Overall it's a decent team. It could do well with caveat that Cavani & Havertz will hit the ground running for first weeks. Important to stick with them if, for example, Bruno did a business GW1 and Cavani/Havertz blank ... you maybe tempted to shuffle around GW2/3 ... that's not great (note: happened to me last season and buried me to 4M OR rank in first few GWs, painful!).

I am going jota over the popular Buendia as good early fixtures and firmino on holiday so may not be ready for GW1

Could be a good punt, plethora of options at 7 and 6.5 to move to if it backfires

If he's got consistent minutes I would slot him in, no doubt.

He is in my team atm. The only problem is that 4.5 mids are better than 4.5 fwd:s. So he is competing with Wilson and Antonio who are certain starters when fit.

Robbo at 7m

Was shocking at the end of the last season. Couldn't hit water if he was jumping off a boat. Just soo wasteful and frustrating to own. Was the same in the Euros.

The team looks good but personally I prefer to have more on the bench especially at the moment.

Looks strong. Very similar to mine although I have Sarr over Buendia and Veltman in place of Hoever. I think you’ll probably want one playing defender on the bench for cover.

I've had similar draft, but decided to have only one of Raphinha / Buendia and upgrade defense.

Best draft with Salah, Bruno and Son I've seen. Yet bench is too weak, so Cavani out perhaps.

I like this, sort of template but nothing wrong with it. Plus backing up Cavani DCL upfront. Jota ESR could be the weakest link or let say uncertain rather, mostly re their minutes.

I'm usually pretty happy to just have someone who can chip in with 2 if needed. If he turns out to be near nailed then I'll be interested, but otherwise I'll take my boring 4.5 and pocket the extra cash

That might become an issue. If they and Leeds (Raphinha, Harrison) don't perform, who are the replacements.

Think you need cs to get good value and cs haven't been there for 18 months (well before VVD injury). VVD form, midfield churn, VVD partner ? and even more advanced Robbo and TAA all make me doubt leaping in. Can see the attraction but quite happy to be a couple of weeks late.

Super easy to get VVD - better value selection that Robbo by 0.5 if you check - from a mid-priced attacker.

I’m cautiously optimistic about Dier as you know so would swap for Veltman and I’d also prefer Harrison to Soucek (although I may well eat those words).

Personally I think I’d get both White and Dier as Arsenal and Spurs rotate well enough.

Finally I’m a fan of Brownhill over Bissouma but that’s of very little consequence

Most advice will just be telling you how to make your team more template but it's for fair reason.

I'm cheap so not keen on Martinez over Sanchez or similar + 1m. Suspect someone like Hendo will be better value too.

Cash would give you enough for Soucek (prefer Harrison at that price point anyways) to whoever you fancy (quite like Barnes, need to check how he's looking though).

ESR could be interesting but not topping my watchlist right now. Soucek plus him to Harrison + Buendia? Could drop a 4.5 defender to 4.0 and have Raphinha instead.

I dont see the Son hype. His numbers regressed a lot toward the end of the season. When Kane was out last season for a spell Spurs and Son struggled to score. I understand that he might be on pens if Kane goes but I think that Spurs side will struggle a ton without a a focal point as good as Kane. The guy is world class and whoever takes his place is not going to be anywhere near his level.

Hard to say, not sure losing White actually changes how Brighton will set up much, he's not exactly VVD.

It’s not a bad point. Just that 0.5 can perhaps make more of a difference in defence (assists etc) than in goal
