I would honestly bench Barnes but that's cause I don't really like him much and away at West Ham is not a good fixture.

I don't think they will. Leicester looked vulnerable against Wolves. I reckon Antonio and Benrahma will do well. Leicester are still on a makeshift defense and Barnes isn't 100% even according to his manager.

Toney has lowest floor but highest upside. Benrahma has the hardest fixture. Raphina isn’t in great form but could bounce back. I would hedge my bets on WH away with Antonio already as cover or bench Raphina personally.

No. From GW3 and the GW7 there will be huge diversity. People will have different plans re Lukaku, Kane and other surprise transfers, as well as major fixture swings.

I guess so. You can’t have Salah, Bruno, KDB, Kane & Lukaku so decisions will need to be made.

Once Kane, Lukaku, KDB become genuine options things will get interesting.

We started the season with no premium forwards, and a limited number of premium midfielders - Sancho wasn't ready to start, neither was KDB. We've held back re City until we see who emerges as near enough to regular starters, and Chelsea until we see how they're going to set up. Soon we'll have to select our premiums, and we will make different choices.

Everyone is so well informed now. It’s getting harder to differentiate our teams.

It should be better when we’re trying to get in Salah, Bruno, Lukaku, Kane, Son… those that keep TAA or a better balance may be rewarded, for example.

No. This is the season of people jumping to conclusions and kneejerking after one gw.

Not when Lukaku and Kane get going, you'd imagine that'll throw a few people. But with so much information here, Twitter, YT, and so many "experts", it's easy for people to follow the trend (whether actively trying to or not). Especially preseason once the template had established itself most people got shot down if picking anything different, and then bandwagons begin.

The opening weeks are pretty much always about the "template", and it's a template for a reason. Collectively, managers will always gravitate towards the "best" options and those tend to be the same for the majority. Especially when we don't have much data yet and when we're all reading the same articles and giving out the same advice in these types of comment sections.

It'll shake up once teams and players settle in and gain/lose their rhythm and when other returning players get into teams like Kane, Lukaku, KDB etc.

That would be a shame, as an owner of him, would prefer he stayed at Watford.

              He’s a good player.

The waters are a bit muddier now with Daka and Iheanacho, but you got him because he was quality.

He’s blanked one game, which every player is going to do several times this season, that’s all.

Do see both concede as leeds don't keep a lot of CS at home(or in general) so probably comes down to attacking returns which,at coufal is clearly superior.

So, maybe a tad bit early, but... Chelsea will blank gws 17 and 18 because of the CWC. Definitely trying to save my 1st WC till late again.

You're right that is a bit early! Even if you have triple Chelsea you'll probably be fine with a decent bench and a few fts, looking at the fixtures (Everton and Wolves) I doubt too many would have Wolves players on that run they have then so I'd say most would have 4 max, and even then Tuchel is so hard to predict with rotation that tripling up might be too much for a lot of people unless they're in blistering form (which to be fair could happen).

Usually when a player's Target column reaches +100 means a rise, -100 for a fall.

You can click on the Target column and it will show you either...

When you get comfortable using it I would suggest also looking at FFFix price predictions for the RATE at which a player is rising or falling too, but in the main FPLStatistics is the one for accuracy imo...

    CASH COWS moooooooooo

hello friends. Like me you may have noticed that many of the great FPL footballers will be having a goal this year. BruYES Fernando, Mr M Salah of Egypt, Africa, Romelu Lukakakakaku, The Son and his former best friend are brave hero Harry Kane to name just a few. i want it all all and so do you, but not so fast Freddie Mercury (RIP sad face) because you cannot have it all. I know what you are thinking though because I am thinking it too. Ho Ho Ho, I can't have them all but I can have THREEEEEE!

    BruYES Fernando:

20.5 p/£m/game if he hits 240 again. Not great, but a 100% captain choice. Banged in GW1. For owners, life without him is incomprehensible. Psychiatric hospitals are reporting cases of PTSD in managers who didn't own him. They are wandering about the corridors sobbing and mumbling 'and another one' and 'I still got 92 points' and 'Southampton'.

Mr M Salah of Egypt, Africa:

19.5 p/£m/game if he hits 230 again. Not great at all, but a 100% captain choice. Historical ceiling at +70 points. Banged in GW 1. It's Salah, almost nobody is gonna leech money from a player who hit 300 and could do again. Send back your happy meal and go large on a plate of reality.

    Travis Alexander Arnold

21.5 p/£m/game if he hits 160 again. Not great at all, and a 0% captain choice (i mean, you could do Sir but we all know you wont). Historical ceiling at 210. Highest scoring defender in the game. Great bunch of lads.

As you can see friends from my thorough and unarguable workings these players all offer big MEH value for money, ergo - and as you all well know being FPL brainboxes - their value is only found in (C) or in hot streaks. Even accounting for an uptick in returns, e.g TAA hits 185, or Salah hits 275 we are still buying groceries at M&S. Coufal/Shaw/Cresser/Maguire/Dunk/Harrison/Soucek etc offer 24-27p/£m/game. 5.5s have probably been underpriced by 0.5 this year, there is an abundance of mids and strikers in the 7-8m bracket.

It's Travis innit. FPL eggheads don't like rotating defenders. They want a relatively settled defence. Nobody will armband TAA ever unless they gone bananas. 2m for Travis Arnold probably buys about 35 points over even someone so dullard as Harry Maguire, or a few point more over Coufal. That's 1 point per week. Hands up who thinks they can't buy 1 point per week with £2-2.5m to spend on big boy pants catpain options huh

And there you have it. Even if TAA bangs V Norwich (nobody thinks TAA wont score points of course) it is over for him with a few GWs. RIP TAA in 3-4-3s and 3-5-2s. It over friends and price drop coming.

I can see myself rotating TAA with some big hitters, dont see a problem in it if you feel the other options are going to score more points ( Kane Son, Kaku , ect) No one is going to be in my team all season for all 38 games. Its all about timing.

HI I NEED HELP AND ADVICE PLAESE:

I have bruNO in my team, and I feel like I desperately need him.

    My team:

    Martinez
    TAA Shaw Tsimika Coufal Amartey
    Grealish Benhrama Greenwood Salah Bissouma
    Ings Antonio Vardy

(I have to dedcut I beleive, if its worth it)..

    OPTIONS A:
Vardy out Pogba in for bissouma
Vardy Out Bruno in for someone else.

DO I NEED BRUNO????? I THINK SO AHHH

You mean you don't have BruYES? That's actually an interesting team, but it's hard to go without Bruno unless you're super-sure it benefits the rest of the team, and as you clearly aren't, then with that lot I'd go 3-5-2 and bring Bruno in for Bissouma, downgrading Vardy to best-possible striker fodder. Good luck.

The issue here is I cant swap bissouma out as it only leaves me with 10.5 million at its lowest striker. Thats my problem here. The team is good all round and scored 100 points last week without bruno however saints he loves and I beleive capatain chocie for a lot people will hinder me

I notice you have 0.5 in the bank mate, I do too, something I noticed last night is TAA Barnes with the 0.5 goes to Son and Regulion, Spurs with Watford at home and Palace away for gameweek 3 and 4 could be how I get Son in!!

That's very eagle-eyed of you, and thanks for feedback! TAA not the easiest to move out of course, but that's a great idea... was also thinking of Barnes > Greenwood with that £0.5, or have option of hit next week that lets me bring in Son and still keep Ings in a reasonably solid 4-4-2. Decisions, decisions!
