Andy North and Mark Sutherns drop into their regular Friday night slot for another laid-back look at the key Fantasy Premier League (FPL) talking points ahead of Gameweek 13.

Mark is recording for our subscribers every Gameweek throughout the upcoming campaign, so sign up via this link in order to see his regular appearances.

Ben Chilwell‘s (£6.0m) injury, coupled with some early Sunday night transfers, has forced Mark to take only his second hit of the season. However, when it’s Marcos Alonso (£5.6m) coming in, he seems more than happy to take his medicine.

As for Andy, he’s closing the gap on Mark after another green arrow and, having resisted a hasty move for Reece James (£6.1m), is still considering his own hit to swap out Phil Foden (£8.3m) for Diogo Jota (£7.6m).

Subscribers can view the embedded video below:

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I was thinking of going with Reguilon instead of Alonso but I think now is a good time to bring in Alonso cause he’s cheaper than the other Chelsea defenders and hopefully should get forward. Just have to hope he doesn’t get rotated too much

How can I bring in Jota into this team (currently 3-4-3 and will be 3-5-2)?

I lack 1.0 in funds for a straight Brownhill --> Jota transfer. I also would consider transfering out Vardy for a cheaper option (Toney), but he has WAT, sou, avl, NEW for his next four fixtures. Will Foden play this GW?

    Foster, Ramsdale
    TAA, James, Cancelo, (Livramento, Duffy)

is Jota going to score 4 points more than Foden - that is the question.

It's been 48 km/h in Liverpool and where I live all night and it's enough for road signs and so on to fly about on roads but by no means any 'danger to life'

I think in this case "danger to life" is not applicable. It depends how the ball acts in that wind. I looked at an weather prediction and there it was predicted that there will be a wind of 10m/s, but it seems to slow down later in the evening and next day it's half of that already. So it might get delayed a bit also. Doen't have to be cancelled I think.

My D: TAA, White, Cancelo, Livra and Chilwell.

Agonisingly, 0.1 short of moving Chilwell to James.

    So...do I:

    1. Hold for the week, save a tranny which allows me to swap Antonio out, raise some cash to buy James and use the time to assess Alonso and the forwards.

    2. Do Chilwell - Alonso. Pros: Alonso more like to play next few games without rotation; no one has him and it gives me a CHS defender v Man U. Cons: much lower xGI than James.
