Man Utd v Brighton team news: Rashford, Pogba and Lamptey benched, Varane ill

The final match of Double Gameweek 25 sees Manchester United play host to Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford.

Kick-off is at 20:15 GMT.

A lot of captaincy hopes will be pinned on Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo tonight, with the Portuguese pair both installed in Ralf Rangnick’s starting XI.

Elsewhere, there are three changes for the Red Devils from the side that drew 1-1 against Southampton on Saturday, with Victor Lindelof, Fred and Anthony Elanga coming in for Raphael Varane, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.

Varane was initially named in the line-up, but has since had to pull out due to illness.

That means Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw continue in defence, ahead of goalkeeper David de Gea, who’s ownership currently sits at 15.2%.

Graham Potter, meanwhile makes three changes for Brighton, with Yves Bissouma, Alexis Mac Allister and Leandro Trossard replacing Adam Lallana, Tariq Lamptey and Danny Welbeck.

    Sorry my last post was not clear

    Need some advice my rival TC Ronaldo tonight he is now 100pts clear. He will now no doubt bring in Kane and Salah on free hit to block me and cap Salah.

    Do I still go ahead TC Salah this week or use it in another game week with different player.

        I will cal Salah but unsure if using my TC be wasted I won't gain much from it
        if he caps Salah he gets double I get Triple not much difference in terms points.

      Well Kane could easily get nothing and if you TC Salah, then you're up already. Focus on getting a differential in that he won't have that could do well. Tierney/Saka for example.

      Or if you like a gamble/have the balls - TC Trent

      I think you still go Salah, as at least you can gain ground thanks to him using his TC this week unlike most. TAA isn’t a bad alternative by any stretch though and could seriously cut into that lead if he doesn’t have double Liverpool defence

    So following the Uber- late kick off time the fans at old Trafford had to walk home because the teams were not working. Technical fault. Last match they were unable to eat or drink at half time. Technical fault. It has been a hard grind for United fans recently but this sort of stuff just adds to that misery.

      Can't condone moving KDB. I'd move DDG and Reguilon.

      Jimenez and Weghorst are underwhelming, but Weghorst for the doubles is enough that I've taken the chance on a WC (before he was injured). I almost don't even care about forwards at this point though.

      Can't seem to get the rub of the green either, my best week was the first which saw me in the top 10k and has been downhill since.

      I'd say KDB & Dennis out for Son & Jiminez is enough, Weghorst is an injury doubt and to be quite frank has missed some easy chances in the games he's played so far. Watkins may yet be useful for GW30 when lots of others blank.

      If you already have Salah then Son seems fine to me for the double. Why not?

      I just moved Bruno to Salah as planned, and used machinations to keep KDB myself.
