Best 5.5 midfielder for reliability and points

I have an eye on the Højbjerg as Spurs likely to attack lots

If it was a set and forget team, Hojberg would be an option but there are better choices otherwise. Maybe McNeil?

McNeil is a good shout, or Douglas Luiz. Kluivert looked really sharp yesterday.

The wife booked a cottage in Cornwall for 10 days few months ago, I thought great, love Cornwall as do the kids and Dog. Booked a couple of weeks off, nice. Didn’t think anything more until I realised that i will be driving down, late morning on the 11th. Will be the longest 5/6 hours of my life. Note to self : make sure first day of hols doesn’t coincide with first day of prem 😀

My Brother in law has a caravan in Anglesey Andy, we’ve fished all over the Island, listening to all the locals letting us in on they’re ‘secret’ Bass fishing spots and realising ( when we’ve not had a bite) that they were just keeping their real ‘secret’ Bass spot for themselves. Then we realised that the best Bass spot was right under our nose as there is a ‘channel’ that runs out to see right on the beach where is caravan is located. Bass is beautiful but when it’s fresh, there’s nothing like it 😀 hope you are keeping well Horsey…

If you are coming down to the west of the county plan your journey to avoid the Chiverton Cross interchange. The roadworks there are a nightmare you'd probably end up missing the FPL deadline if you don't.

What makes me think 7m is the fact that Nkunku cane in at 7.5, and he’s already a well established player with a bucket load of goals over the past few seasons.

    Comparison 1
    A Odegaard 8.5 and Fernandes 8.5
    B Martinelli 8.0 and Rashford 9.0

Odegaard less rotation than Martinelli? Fernandes playing further up the pitch with mount deeper and on pens. Rashford competing with Hojland so goals may dry up compared to last season. Looking at clips of Hojland he looks kind of greedy. Based on this I am currently on A
Does anyone have anything to add to this comparison?

Yeah, I can add a few bits.

Odegaard less rotation than Martinelli, yes I agree. Fernandes further forward than Mount, possibly. Rashford competing with Hojlund is incorrect. Rashford is better out wide and Hojlund as a #9 only benefits Rashford and Fernandes.

Why is everyone saying that Chelsea's easy schedule starts in the 3rd gameweek?

GW2: Away vs West Ham without Rice

I agree that Liverpool isn’t necessarily a bad fixture for attacking assets - I just wouldn’t back a defender though.

I’d actually forgotten that West Ham was the 2nd one! That’s a pretty sweet fixture all things considered.

    RMT please

    Areola
    Trent Stones Gabriel
    Rashford Saka Foden Mitoma Mbeumo
    Haaland Nkunku

    Martinez Henry Kabore Mubama

Martinez and Areola will rotate based on fixtures (they rotate surprisingly nicely).

Quite template, I know - may yet downgrade Trent to a 4.5/5.0 defender then upgrade Mbeumo as I don't like the look of pool defensively but then again not having trent could be terrible

There are so many good picks at great prices this season. I’m glad it won’t be a small pool of players to differentiate your team like last season. Wish I had an extra midfield slot!

I’m terms of targeting attacking teams, sacrificing Salah allows a double attack from City, Arsenal, Brighton and one Liverpool and Rashford. Or double United but not sure that is worth it yet. So many ways to go.

A brave but worthy punt! Saka has looked really sharp in pre season too so could be a great differential given everyone will be on Haaland. Hope it pays off for you!

If Raya leaves who is 2nd choice keeper for Brentford?

Flekken that is why they brought him I assume.

    How saucy is this?

    Flekken
    Gabriel | Saliba | Estupinan
    Salah | Son | Bruno | Saka | Eze
    Haaland | Joao Pedro

    Strakosha | Beyer | Kabore | Woodrow

Bit different to most, must say I like it. Particularly the Eze pick think Palace are going to wallop Sheffield.
The double Arsenal defence if clever. Obviously Perdro is a risk but worth it.
I would prefer Pickford over Flekken though as I think Everton are more assured defensively - plus even if Everton concede he is in the mix for save points.

Yeah had Pickford all along until now, but then thought I want a set and forget, and feel I’m more likely to set and forget with Flekken (Brentford) over Pickford (Everton)

Quite saucy. Not a fan of double Arsenal defence even if Rice should help their cleansheet potential and fixtures look good.

Yeah have considered Porro too, can’t see any other standout 5.0 attacking defenders.
I do think all the Arsenal defenders are underpriced though (barring White), so trying to be clever doubling up

        So it’s either:

        Martinelli over Saka
        Or
4.5 def over one of the 5.0

Both great options. I’ve needed the .5 and don’t trust any 5m defenders from city to be nailed so went with Stones and Varane
