You're going to score zero with your current keeper. So as long as the one you're bringing in gets 2 min, it's only a minus 2.

I'd just do it as you'll have to do it at some point and unlikely to ever have nothing else to do.

Ok, so no point having £14m on bench for two weeks, which means it’s a Haaland sell for me. No point removing him unless I get Son in, so it’s a 4 pointer for me.

Between Isaak, Alvarez and Solanke for me.

Alvarez misses next week, but at least gives me a City attacker so I don’t need to rush to get Haaland back before Son goes off to the Asia cup.

Solanke is the man in form, but it’s Bournemouth who can quite as quickly go as cold as they have been hot.

Isaak means not having to worry about GW18 blanks and we know what Isaak can do in those upcoming fixtures, even if he has reduced minutes.

I don't think you can justify a hit for a player who blanks next week. Solanke has form, fixtures and minutes so I think its a no brainer

I think this in essence is a big problem with selling Haaland. I get the £14m on the bench argument but it was £14m on the bench for everyone next week regardless so that isn't all that relevant in the equation. Most people will use the cash in other positions so its not just using a transfer this week and the same again in a few weeks, its using 2 or 3 this week and 2 or 3 in a few weeks to reverse it.

        Yes, this is another factor.

It’s whether the potential haul from the players you get in outweighs the points hit you’ll take.

There was always a chance Emery was going to use that system with 1 of his full backs being a CB, he tried it a lot in pre-season but with Mings and Carlos injured at the start of the season he's not had the luxury with having less fit centre backs to use it until now.

Interesting data for Solanke. Maybe temper expectations on Solanke

Solanke's numbers have been excellent, but one thing to note is he has a total of 0.98xGI v CRY, SHU, BUR compared to 3.56xGI v MUN, AVL, NEW.

True but him playing CF against a defensive team may not be great for him as a FPL pick
