    Dubravka Turner
    Taylor Gabriel TAA Pau Kabore
    Palmer Saka Diaby Son Salah
    Darwin Watkins Archer

Do Darwin > Solanke straight away?
Don’t mind taking a hit either to start getting rid of deadwood like Diaby

Feel like Darwin -> Solanke is a points-chasing transfer this week. The former is almost sure to start against Burnley, the latter has Fulham - who gave nothing away defensively and somehow ended up conceding 2 yesterday (meaning we're on course for a legendary Leno shot-stopping performance on Tuesday).

I'd hold Darwin this week and move him on for Haaland (if fit) in GW20

I think it's mad to hold Darwin over Solanke.

It's not like Solanke can't score again just because he's done well recently.

        Anyhow, happy Christmas eve.

It's the decision before deadline that's important. My take on benching Gabriel vs Liverpool away was that I was as sure as I could be that Liverpool scored. And Liverpool usually defend set pieces well.
If he's like on four goals this season from det pieces its another debate, but it's his first goal in 18 matches.

I played football for many years and we gave as good as we got. The single moment in my eyes is shirt pulling that has an infuriating affect on the player. Is it not time to hand over a yellow card; even for both parties. A total wind up and the shxthousing would stop very quickly.

Don't know about your midfield/attack, but 2 transfers will give you the flexibility to buy TAA by getting funds from somewhere else. He seems the outstanding candidate in defence

Chelsea subbed him off at halftime in EFL cup, and played Gusto down the left due to his lacklustre performance. With Wolves not being a tall team, they might do that from the start today, so I'd find some potential other activity at lunchtime rather than the Wolves game just in case! Good Luck anyway. Hopefully you've been good this year and Santa will give you a present!

    Raya; Gabriel, Porro, TAA
    Salah, Son, Saka, Palmer
    Alvarez, Wilson, Watkins
    Subs Turner, Guehi, Tsimikas Garnacho
    0.9itb 1FT used wildcard
Is this ok to rollover, or do any bench work in advance? Would like to sub out Tsimikas as have 0.4 profit locked up. If so which defender a cheap Gusto would more easily enable any Haaland return if seemed sensible when next wild card available. However rumours that Chilwell could be back in a few weeks, could mean Gusto permanently benched.

GW20. Going to bring in Leno and maybe change Neto too, revamp my whole defence essentially, definitely move one of Salah and Son out (on paper I should do both but I can't say I dislike either team's fixture), move Saka to Odegaard and likely get an 8th attacker (very tempted by Toney as he's back GW21 but we'll see). Will cause headaches inevitably but I've had far too many availability issues in the last 10GWs or so, so I want a full playing squad

There were pictures of him kicking a ball that got deleted, doubt he’s doing ball work if he’s not good to go, I still doubt he was injured, just having a winter break & they’ve been easing him back in after some warm weather training, we’ll see.

I have never seen FPL so obsessed with one player before. I've gone without since gw8 and I'm 150k.
And essentially people trading Salah, a fully fit one, against a Newcastle side who are dreadful away and have injuries from hell (actually Liverpool now also have some), for s player that's not matchfit. And I think we've now learned what SHU is under Wilder. Doesn't people watch footy?

If he gets 20 mins off the bench at Everton and doesn't pull up then yes...

57 with Palmer and no bench at all ...

            Walker Alvarez Pau

Should I be ashamed or thankful for all I have?

I have 67 with Palmer, therefore shame is the appropriate feeling for you!

Porro still an option for Tsimi? Will keep enough money itb for Isak to Haaland GW20

I guess so for the attacking potential.

Just been looking at their fixtures which are so so.

I'm thinking about Porro back to Gabriel now, it's all a much of a muchness!

Other defs are Gabriel, Zinch, Branthwaite, Lascelles who may also be out.

I could just go for Trent and deal with getting in Haaland when Salah goes to AFCON. Or roll and assess with 2FTs and more info

I think Trent is the right direction then deal with it around gw20 onwards.

    Morning All,

Early thoughts on the below team? 1FT, 0.0 itb

    Petrovic
    Saliba Trippier Porro
    Son Saka Bowen Salah
    Alvarez Solanke Watkins

    subs: Areola Gabriel Adingra Lamptey*

Save is the right choice unless Haaland is back?

What are your plans on bringing Haaland now?

If Haaland was fit for SHU Original plan was a direct transfer from Solanke to Haaland. Which is unlikely now given Big Doms hot form

So Haaland probably has to wait till GW21 unless i want to lose one of Salah(NEW) or Son (BOU) in gw20

I think am losing Salah in GW20 (vs NEW) to afford Haaland vs SHU.
Let's see if he is fit or not.

I'd probably do the same even though Salah will probably haul vs. NEW

          Unfortunately yes.
With the current way NEW are playing, am expecting a haul from Salah.

Agree. Newcastle look knackered. i can see Salah doing welll.

Sheffeild change of fortunes under Wilder as well. Seems to have more motivation and fight now so could not necessarily be a mauling for city

Will bring him in for Alvarez or Watkins and keep Solanke, the funds are there.

It’ll most likely be for Alvarez and run with a Haaland, Watkins, Solanke front 3.

    Areola
    Gabriel, Colwill, Trippier
    Salah, Saka, Son, Bowen
    Solanke, Alvarez, Watkins

    (Turner, Gordon, Tsimikas*, Lascelles*)

With 1.8 itb + 2FT thoughts on the following plan:

    GW19: Tsimikas > Digne
    GW20: Alvarez + Son > Haaland + Chuckwuemeka

Sure I'll take that. But I feel like my Gabriel 10 pointer off the bench would be a bigger rank booster

We too. 27 points on my bench this GW (should have used BB) and I'll get 10 of thosefrom Gabreil if Palmer doesn't feature.

        Unlucky.

It's pretty impossible to predict bench boost in a single gw.

The only hope is that a strong bench makes you focus on the strongest 11 but invariably you'll look at those who don't return that week.

    Dubravka (Areola)
    TAA, Trippier, Porro (Gabreil, Branthwaite)
    Salah, Son, Saka, Palmer, Gordon
    Watkins, Solanke (Archer)

    2FT, 2.5m ITB

I'm preparing for last 16 ties in both the FFS open and members cup really in GW20, but what should I do this GW I don't see an obvious move. Is this a burn FT, or should I get a Villa or City defender in with GW20 in mind?

    Palmer Saka Diaby Son Salah
    Darwin Watkins Archer

1 FT 2.5 ITB. What would you do here? Obviously lots of issues :/

Play one from each line please.

    1) Gabriel (WHU) / Pinnock (WOL)
    2) Archer (LUT) / Bowen (ars)

    Currently playing Gabriel and Archer

Gabriel and Bowen, Brentford are poor defensively in my opinion and West Ham like playing against sides that keep the ball and push the side up high so they can counter. Archer isn't a bad shout this weekend either mind, but Luton are much improved, can see that being a tight game

(If you really don't like playing two players against each other then I'd play Pinnock, but you saw yesterday that you can still pick up points from an attacker and defender facing each other with Gabriel and Salah)

Cheers, that's the worry. If I picked both, worried not be surprised to see both blank, specially after seeing Archer, Gabriel and Areola on my bench this week! Haha
