It’s time for our Fantasy Bundesliga Matchday 14 team reveals, as our experts showcase the best picks, top differentials, and smart plays for the week ahead.

@Big4FPL

NOTES

  • Another tough week leaves me just outside the top 1,000. Harry Kane was benched but still delivered a sensational hat-trick. I handed the star to Luis Díaz, only for him to miss out on my starting XI, while Harry Kane and Yan Diomande both produced strong hauls. Alejandro Grimaldo failing to feature also came as a surprise, but that is very much the reality of the Bundesliga.
  • This week, I have kept things fairly steady. The only notable move sees the suspended Díaz moved on.
  • The star players this round are Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Alejandro Grimaldo.

NOTES

  • GKs: It may feel repetitive, but Diant Ramaj and Mio Backhaus remain my goalkeeper pairing once again. This combination continues to offer strong value and reliability. Surely a change will come at some point… just not yet.
  • DEFs: In defence, I am bringing in Rasmus Kristensen and Vladimír Coufal. Both benefit from favourable home fixtures this week and offer attacking upside alongside a solid baseline for points, particularly Rasmus Kristensen. Nico Schlotterbeck also remains on my radar if I decide to free up funds elsewhere.
  • MIDs: Adding Álex García feels essential this week. He has a strong home fixture and continues to collect points consistently. I am less convinced about moving Ritsu Doan in for El Mala, but his fixture looks far more appealing this round, which keeps him firmly in consideration.
  • FWDs: With Luis Díaz suspended, forward options feel limited. Deniz Undav stands out due to his solid underlying numbers and recent explosiveness, so he comes into the squad. Haris Tabaković is another player I am seriously weighing up for the final forward slot.

NOTES

  • After a disastrous Matchday last week – partly down to oversleeping and missing the transfer deadline – I am aiming to respond immediately and recover the ground I lost.
  • With European competitions taking place this week, staying on top of lineup news and press conferences is crucial. Late injuries and rotation can easily catch managers out, so monitoring updates right up to the deadline matters.
  • My plan this week is to sell the suspended Luis Díaz, alongside Maximilian Mittelstädt, Ritsu Doan , Yukinari Sugawara , and Grischa Prömel .
  • The incoming transfers are Harry Kane, Nico Schlotterbeck, Aleix García, Vladimír Coufal, and Lennart Karl.
  • This approach sets me up strongly for the current Matchday while also positioning the squad well for next week’s planned moves. After that, the Wildcard becomes available, allowing full focus on attacking the following two Matchdays aggressively.

NOTES

  • Last week was mainly horrendous. I should have set up in a 3-4-3. I made several strong individual picks, including Leopold Querfeld and Vieira, yet Patrik Schick somehow remained on the bench.
  • This week, rotation could come into play following European fixtures. I expect some AFCON players to miss out, so team news will matter right up to the deadline.
  • My planned transfers involve moving on Haris Tabaković, Jakub Kamiński, Vincenzo Grifo, and possibly Leopold Querfeld. The players under consideration to replace them include Serge Gnabry or Nicolas Jackson, Bilal El Khannouss or Christoph Baumgartner, Wouter Burger, and David Raum or Nathaniel Brown. I may also make one additional change in goal.
  • I currently sit at 2,520 overall. The immediate target is to push back inside the top 1,500. Good luck everyone.
