Coventry City have signed right-winger Loum Tchaouna from relegated Burnley for a fee thought to be in the region of £20m.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has signed a five-year contract.
Tatsuhiro Sakamoto was the Premier League new boys’ main outlet on the right flank last season, so Tchaouna will tussle with him for a starting role.
Tchaouna joined Burnley from Lazio last summer, making 14 Premier League starts and 15 substitute appearances. He struggled to hold down a place but found a bit of belated (and modest) success after Scott Parker left, starting the last five league matches.
Two of his four attacking returns came under caretaker boss Mike Jackson, indeed.
Tchaouna could get a bit more joy under a more progressive manager like Frank Lampard, then, given that he spent much of 2025/26 under the stewardship of the pragmatic Scott Parker.
