Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is live for 2026/27, and the team reveals are flying left, right and centre!

But the question is: how does your own first draft stack up?

Well, now you can put your team to the test with Fantasy Football Scout’s free Rate My Draft tool.

Upload a screenshot of your FPL team and get an instant rating for your current squad.

Want to know how to improve? Chief Scout members (aka paying subscribers) get recommended transfers powered by our industry-leading Rate My Team (RMT) projections, plus ratings for every position in their squad, making weak spots easy to spot and even easier to fix.

GET YOUR TEAM RATED HERE

WHO CAN USE THE TEAM RATER?

Anyone with a free or paid-for Fantasy Football Scout account can use this rater.

However, you can also use Apple and Google sign-ins for a quick and easy way of getting a squad summary.

HOW MANY TEAMS CAN I HAVE RATED?

Assistant Scout (aka free) members of Fantasy Football Scout are permitted one screenshot upload – but you can have unlimited manual builds in our FPL Draft tool!

Chief Scout (aka paid) Members are allowed five screenshots. Again, they can tinker away to their heart’s content in the FPL Draft tool.

WHAT DOES THE TEAM RATER LOOK LIKE?

Upon uploading a screenshot of their squads, Fantasy managers will be presented with a breakdown of their squads based on our points projections:

FPL 2026 team rater

*some players will still feature in old kits/not have images until the new season begins

Chief Scout members then get recommended transfers, based on our points projections:

FPL 2026 team rater

These points projections will evolve over the coming month, as pre-season friendlies take place and transfers happen. For example, Rodrigo Muniz (£5.5m) fares very well for ‘expected minutes’ at the moment due to Fulham’s absence of senior positional rivals; Raul Jimenez has moved on now. Muniz’s projected game-time will obviously decrease if and when the Cottagers buy reinforcements up top.

DON’T FORGET OUR FPL DRAFT TOOL

Don’t forget that you can also use our FPL Draft feature to put together a squad with all the official FPL prices.

We hope you find these tools useful!

Need to see how Maresca sets up his attack first. For example, if he starts Foden, I'll save cash and go for him.

    a) Verbruggen to 5.5
    b) Cherki to Semenyo
    c) Gvardiol to O'Reilly/Virgil

I don’t think people can commit to that this early. There will loads of mind changing between now and deadline - and what happens if they buy them after the season starts?

It's just for fun, it's no big deal if someone joins and then decides to leave.
There's no way to enforce the restriction automatically, it has to be done manually, i.e., the admin has to check every team every week and remove any team that breaks the rule.
There was a No Haaland No Salah league last season, by the way.

      2. Andy_Social
        • 13 Years

For example, I have two drafts - one with, one without. No idea which one I'll go with yet.

    2. Charlie Price

Captain Mal - every credit for launching this league. The amount of admin involved will be quite daunting though. I know from experience that running a league with qualifying conditions usually attracts interlopers and many of them too.

I may be joining one of your leagues. Undecided on my approach right now, but good luck anyway.

Incidentally I have a new mini league for contributors to these pages which will have limited numbers (16 - 20 managers) as follows:

      Code 3m819x
The Real Madrid League (dont have to be a fan to join)

      Still a few places left.

Lots of faith in Spurs keeping clean sheets around here with Kinsky in so many drafts, but personally that’s still a wait and see.
Are there any 4.0M FWDs out there? Thought that 4.5M was the minimum.

I’d try to get at least one 4.5M defender on your bench to have a little depth. The FPL gods can be unforgiving even though your XI looks like a set of regular starters. Also have a look at your preferred 4M defender. Personally I’d go with Thomas for Defcon and might even play him in GW2.

      1. 3 A
        • 10 Years

Thanks for the reply. Well De Zerbi loves Kinsky as he can build up calmly from behind. His clean sheets also better... 2 from 7 games. 28.7 % approximately... Better than Vicario 22.% and Verbruggen from Brighton .. 27 %.

Maybe that percentage will increase with arrival of new good CB's.

I go with Thomas too. And Hughes. 4.5 FWD I'll go with Fulham because Fulham just have 2 natural striker.

Personally I’d be looking to hold on to my WC at least until after the first international break, so GW6 and have more information to trigger the WC, along with a rolled transfer or three.

I like the Tarkowski pick, he’s nonnegotiable for me.

Would only be triggering it because on this draft I have no Haaland and he is obviously essentially from then on. Thought I might get away with not owning him first few weeks especially if using a few chips, also don’t want lots of money on the bench for too long. The plan would be wildcard in 3, then keep banking transfers and use all 5 gw8

      Yes.

This is the early draft but will play around with it, especially midfield. The likes of Foden, Bruno, Palmer and plenty of 6.5 and 6.0 options on my radar.

      Roefs Verbruggen
      Calafiori Matheus Shaw Williams Davis
      Semenyo MGW Mbeumo KDH Gross
      Haaland Pedro DCL

Will look to WC around GW4, but trying to put a team together than can keep ticking along for longer

Probably not TC, but I'm thinking BB1, FH3, WC5 (although I do like the idea of a COV bench and BB2 when they play Hull)

Load on players with good fixtures 1,2,4,5. Bruno captain 1,2,5 Liverpool or Chelsea captain 4 (Isak? Palmer? JP? don't need to decide yet), get Haaland in and whoever else is playing for City in GW3 on the FH

      WC at the international break.

Not planning the TC yet. Hull play LIV then mci in December so maybe Isak or Haaland then? Maybe another team is looking like getting spanked so target them? TC is the easiest one to not need tricky planning around so happy to wait on it

    What’s better

      B

Bruno looks best captain 1 and 2, and when Haaland has Coventry in 3, Isak had Ipswich.

Do admit that it's a gamble though, backing against Haaland and hoping Isak is back to his old self. Currently on this, but pre-season could easily change my mind.

Is Bruno worth owning even at 12.0 when you can have Cunha for 4.0 less?

Also, is Virgil worth getting for 6.5 or Kerkez at 5.5 is a better option who did so well under Iraola before?

    1. The Knights Template
      • 12 Years

Good questions. I think Bruno way overpriced and will take Mbeumo for the early fixtures. Steering clear of pool defence until I actually see something I like, but would prefer VVDs defcon potential over Kerkez.

        Cheers Knight,

There is some FOMO attached to not owning Bruno but with those nice fixtures we could easily see Mbeumo/Cunha matching or outscoring him.

Good point regarding DEFCON, Virgil will always have a higher baseline than Kerkez.

So true, I am likely to play my wildcard during the first International break so why not start with Mbeumo/Cunha and it can easily be reversed if needed.

Regarding Mbeumo, do you see him starting on the right again or through the middle? Slight minutes concern with Amad/Sesko coming on for him?

I think Bruno and Haaland are both worth the price if you don't have the other one, but don't think it's worth it to get both.

I agree with the good Sir Template on 'pool defence, but alas my resolve is weak and those early games are tempting. Have heard talk of Jacquet possibly being the starter at 5 so might look at him? Will be watching their pre-season for signs if if the defence is width going for it.

I am not sold on Sunderland as they had bad numbers last year and Europe distraction. Prefer Lammens to Roefs. Gross/Ayari to Le Fee

How is this team with Isak looking in a 3-5 2?

    Raya
    N.Williams | Shaw | Mitchell | Konsa | Diop
    Cunha | Mbeumo | Rogers | MGW | Szoboszlai
    Haaland | Isak | Diop

Palmer, Bruno, Isak, Haaland all in one draft, and I don't think it's that bad

    Kinsky, 4.0

    Mosquera, Aina, Shaw, Robinson, 4.0

    Bruno, Palmer, Sarr, Ndiaye, Groß

    Haaland, Isak, 4.5

Not half bad. Got a slight preference for N. Williams over Aina and would go KDH over Ndiaye, Barnes iso Sarr to meet the budget.
Thomas as 4.0 defender for DefCon, Rodon over Robinson.
