    Brobbey to Calvert-Lewin or Wissa?

    1. I own DCL, but if I had your choice I would go Wissa for a solid upcoming run of fixtures

The only madness is to go without Haaland. Any one of the City mids could blank or get reduced minutes. But the entire team is set up to feed Haaland.

Currently on WC, was fairly set on the following team:

    Kelleher, 4.0m GK
Gvardiol, Calafiori, Thiaw, Muharemovic, Ajer/(Konsa if he plays),
    Palmer, Rogers/Wirtz, Cherki, Tzolis, Gross,
    Haaland, J Ped, Wissa.

Do I rip this team up to keep either Bruno or Mbuemo?

Gabriel + Mbeumo -> Konsa + Bruno for free let's me save the WC assuming it'll be quite similar to the team most are WCing into. Do it tonight as will be priced out otherwise?

The Bruno & Mbeumo points haul can only be a good thing for FPL, as many will now be reluctant to sell.
If you don’t own Bruno, I’d still go without him and hope João Pedro etc can be a great captain differential alongside Haaland

Tempted by Cherki, but I think there’s a chance Foden starts over him, with Gakpo getting a debut.

If you're WCing this GW, it's most likely to bring in Bruno, so you have to. But personally I wouldn't WC just to bring in Bruno as next few fixtures aren't so easy for United.

Id be willing to wager that Bruno will this year be like RVP the year Moyes took over, decent the first few weeks, terrible value over the season and regressing alot due to age and Europe.

If Bruno played under Jurgen Klopp he'd of had so many FPL points they'd stop keeping records

Instead he's had a barrel of idiots to deal with and still produced every year.

do DCL --> Wissa? which the better medium-term choice? (both are 6.0 and Wissa very likely to rise tonight, so there is that factor)

    1. Could be an option, I just don't like being rushed into doing it because of the price rise tonight - DCL is still a decent option for the next few, even if Wissa might slightly edge it

Actually considering just rolling the FT here again atm. Obviously only 1 City player is an issue for GW3 and I'd like some Newcastle going forward but I'm not unhappy with any of the attackers in the 1st 2 GW - Rodon to Dedic could be a move if Rodon is due to be out for a while. Is there something obvious I'm missing atm that I should consider with 2FT

    Haaland + Bruno + Palmer + Pedro

Should be absolute locks in every team from GW 4

Cherki spot can be downgraded post GW 7 to beef up defense

    Season of the premiums

Many won’t be able to afford next week though.

    1. Brosstan
      • 12 Years

Cherki is nowhere near essential and you can get Foden who does the same job for cheaper so there is 0 chance people cant afford that type of squad next week.

The same job in FPL - a Man City attacking midfielder who scores points.

  15. So the plan for this next gw was Bruno + Slater to Cherki + Szoboszlai

Now to consider : Gakpo coming in to the left Semenyo to the right Foden to the middle ? What about Cherki ?

    1. I can downgrad Thiago now, since he's not performing, to Wissa and then don't neves to well Bruno

    2. #1 Arne Engels Fan
      • 2 Years

Gakpo is a Foden replacement if anything

Gakpo left, Semenyo right, Cherki through the middle.

Only way Foden replaces Cherki is if Cherki breaks a leg - and even then he'd still be 100x the footballer Foden is

          1. I agree about the football ability but I don't know with Maresca how he'll response to Cherki comments and general attitud

Why do people say this when every single thing we've seen from player comments, manager comments and actual minutes played points to the fact that Maresca prefers Foden to Cherki.

City likely to play 60 games this season. Cherki is probably fine this week but he’s going to share minutes with Foden (and maybe Enzo) throughout the season

                  2. What exactly is your definition of 'playing football'? More skillful? A better team player? Defends as well as attacks? Better header of the ball? Better left-foot? Better right-foot? Able to jump tall buildings in a single bound?
