NOTES
- Round 28 brings another Double Gameweek (DGW), this time for Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps. Unsurprisingly, players from those two sides will be the main focus of my transfers.
- With Yohei Takaoka and Tristan Blackmon already in my squad, Thomas Müller is currently my preferred option to complete the Vancouver triple-up. Brian White is also firmly in my thinking.
- Robert Lewandowski has already left the Poland squad and should be available for the first match of Chicago’s DGW, making him an easy addition to my team. Mbekezeli Mbokazi also comes in after looking good since returning from injury. He just edges Jack Elliott for me based on the underlying numbers.
- Elsewhere, Neil Pierre returns to my team ahead of Philadelphia Union’s favourable home meeting with Real Salt Lake. That leaves me with one final free transfer, which I can either use on a third Chicago player or a Single Gameweek (SGW) punt

NOTES
- Round 27 was a much better week, with André Luiz and Albert Rusnák both returning 20+ points across the double. Attention now turns to another Double Gameweek (DGW), with Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps on the slate. I expect Robert Lewandowski to miss the first match due to international commitments, but I’ll wait for the availability report before making a final call.
- In goal, Yohei Takaoka is already in place for Vancouver’s double, with Andrew Thomas my other goalkeeper.
- Defence is heavily focused on the DGW. Jack Elliott and Mbekezeli Mbokazi provide the Chicago double-up, while Mathías Laborda gives me another Vancouver player. Noel Caliskan and Wyatt Meyer complete the backline.
- In midfield, André Luiz keeps his place after an excellent run of form over the last few Gameweeks. Thomas Müller comes in for Vancouver’s double, joining Guilherme, Evander and Albert Rusnák.
- Up front, Lionel Messi returns following his latest appearance for Argentina. Philip Zinckernagel has Chicago’s double, while Julian Hall comes in after an excellent international break with the United States, scoring three goals in three matches.
- Captaincy will most likely come down to Müller or Zinckernagel, with the Double Gameweek making both strong options.

NOTES
- My goalkeepers remain unchanged this week.
- In defence, I’m bringing in Mathías Laborda and Tristan Blackmon for Vancouver’s Double Gameweek (DGW), alongside Chicago’s Jack Elliott.
- Evander comes into my midfield. There are plenty of strong options to choose from this week, though, so this is one of the tougher positions to settle on.
- Up front, Robert Lewandowski feels like a no-brainer. Chicago have two home matches this round, making him one of the standout options for the DGW.

NOTES
- Gameweek 28 brings yet another Double Gameweek (DGW), with Vancouver Whitecaps and Chicago Fire both playing twice.
- In goal, Yohei Takaoka and Jonathan Bond remain as my goalkeeper pairing. I could move Bond to Andre Blake if I have a spare transfer available.
- In defence, Nouhou Tolo is likely to leave after a disappointing showing in his second Double Gameweek. I’m considering a St. Louis defender as his replacement, while Anthony Markanich, Manu Duah, Maxwell Woledzi and Mathías Laborda all keep their places.
- Midfield could see Thomas Müller come in for Albert Rusnák to take advantage of Vancouver’s double. Guilherme, Nico Fernández and Carles Gil are all easy holds.
- André Luiz also stays after an impressive start to his MLS career. A home meeting with a leaky Portland defence gives him another promising matchup.
- Up front, Robert Lewandowski is set to come in for Chicago’s Double Gameweek. One of Bruno Damiani or Anders Dreyer will make way for the Polish striker.
