Gameweek 26 – The FPL Captain Poll

Right then, we’ve only just swallowed down the gameweek that was 25, where Wayne Rooney delivered as expected and brought home the bacon and Didier Drogba continued in his blistering form as if he’d never been away.

However, with another batch of fixtures right around the corner closing in on us already, it’s time to weigh up the options for our fantasy armband in what will be another FPL double gameweek.

With Manchester City, Bolton, Stoke and Wigan all having the luxury of two games rather than one this week I imagine their players will catch more than a few eyes – but these aren’t your Rooneys or Fabregas’ we’re talking about, so I’m sure there will be a certain level of trepidation in doing so. Maybe Drogba away at Everton might be tempting instead, perhaps Jermain Defoe at Wolves or even Rooney himself at Villa Park?

Either way, we haven’t got much time so get voting and use this post as your platform for discussion.

i have 3.1 mill in the bank and one free transfer
i also cannot decide on who to captain
any help would be appreciated

my subs for this week -

Cahill -> Hughes
Ballack -> N’Zogbia

leaves me 2.5 mill in the bank to swap Tevez for Drogba next week, the thing is i’ll only have 0.1 to spare so any prices rises for Drogba (inevitable) will leave me unable to do it.

shall i take a 4 point hit to bring drogba in now, tevez is on a double though

or i could put someone cheaper than Hughes or N’Zogbia in to make sure got plenty spare cash left

Any help would be much appreciated

Tevez for me but worried since his points have dropped since Adeys return?
Also have Rodallega, Etherington, Shawcross, Sorensen for the DBL GW along with Fabs and Rooney in the team – am i doing the right thing having Carlos as my Capt !!!

Fabs Lamps Milner McCarthy
Bent Rooney Tevez

Wilkinson, Dann, Gera

Does that look about right? I do you reckon bench Milner and play Dann or Wilkinson maybe?

Andy, what do you mean ‘blistering form’. Drogba left for the ACON with only 1 goal in 3 games and cost many of us dearly !

Subs: Dunne / Milner / Cahill

Any suggestions? Do I sub Cahill for a City player (Zabeleta) or someone else? Do I leave Tevez as captain? Or do, I look at buying someone else – I have £0.5m in the bank so around £5.4m to spend.
