Packed with eight Premier League fixtures, it goes without saying that today is massive for us fantasy managers. First we’re off to back off to Villa Park for Aston Villa’s game against Arsenal, and there is some interesting team news…

Two-time Premier League winner with Arsenal, Robert Pires starts for Aston Villa against his old club. John Carew also makes a comeback to the starting line-up as predicted.

The visitors are of course without their captain Cesc Fabregas, and Robin van Persie still isn’t deemed fit enough to start. Tomas Rosicky comes in, but Theo Walcott only has a place on the bench.

Here are the line-ups in full…

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Luke Young, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Ashley Young, Clark, Bannan, Downing, Pires, Carew

Arsenal XI: Fabianski, Sagna, Squillaci, Koscielny, Clichy, Rosicky, Song, Wilshere, Nasri, Chamakh, Arshavin

Then, with no evening fixture, we have seven 3pm games to keep us occupied. Possibly the most highly anticipated game today is Bolton Wanderers Vs. Blackpool. Crazy. Elsewhere, joint-top-of-the-table Manchester United host Blackburn Rovers, West Brom travel to Goodison Park, Fulham face Birmingham City, Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City are at the Britannia Stadium, Wolves host Sunderland and Upton Park sees West Ham and Wigan Athletic battle it out.

    Want Rooney in.

    Forward line is Tevez, Elmander, Drogba. Obv Drogba out is the easiest way to do it but I'd ideally like to sacrifice Elmander over Drogba.

    Have Malouda, Nani and Tim Cahill in midfield.

    Shall I just do the straight Drogba swap or Rooney for Elmander + 5.5 midfielder for Malouda?

    is it wildcard time, or just be patient and do a transfer at a time? was so close to taking a hit to bring in nasri for arteta this week too, simply to get a jump on the price rise, but thought i would give arteta one last chance at home to west brom- disaster outcome.

    So Holden gets a goal and an assist in the Wolves away game a couple of weeks ago, Mark Davies does the same today, and both played their asses off.

    However, FPL doesn't like giving BP's to players that have incredibly low ownership, almost like they feel that these would be 'wasted' bonus points, so they just give it to the regulars like Charlie Adam who did nothing but pick up a yellow.

    What a load of tosh.
