Van der Vaart Available for Tomorrow

It’s the news we’ve been waiting for. Reports have come through that indicate Rafael Van der Vaart is available for Spurs’ home clash with Bolton tomorrow.

While we still await official confirmation from the club, BBC reporter Mike Sewell broke the news on his twitter stream in the last few minutes, to the delight of Fantasy managers. Sewell, at Harry Redknapp’s press conference this morning, has confirmed the Dutchman has overcome his ongoing hamstring trouble and comes into the squad for the Trotters game.

The doubts surrounding Van der Vaart’s hamstring have already seen him transferred out of nearly 56,000 teams this gameweek, easily the most of any player. Those who decided to “get rid” will be hoping he has an off-day at the Lane, while those who have patiently held will be savouring the thought of the Dutchman tormenting an off-form Bolton team as Spurs go for their tenth win in eleven.

With Jermain Defoe having played from the start in Wednesday’s Europa League clash with PAOK, the odds are on Van der Vaart making the first XI tomorrow- he may well get his obligatory 60+ minutes but time and again this season, he’s shown he is more than capable of producing the points with relatively limited game time and will be another strong option for the armband ahead of tomorrow’s game at the Lane.

We’ll bring you more on this as we get it.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I say captain Aguero. If he starts then he's going to kill Norwich. (And he should start)

He played 60+ minutes mid week, its not certain he will start. I think we'll be quite lucky if he plays at least 45 minutes.

Stick with RVP (C) and Ade (VC), thats what I'm doing too.

That's true, I forgot he came on so early. I still think he'll start though, alongside Bally. Dzeko is the bigger risk. I have images of Aguero's opening game performance against Swansea. But rotation is definitely a risk.

Baines and Kompany I rekon. And this is coming from someone who only owns Enrique out of those 3.

Just means he's more of a differential! And they will all be transfering him back in when he starts scoreing again.

Any thoughts on the following team:

    Vorm
    Enrique Jones Richards
    VDV Bale Silva (V) Mata
    RVP (C) Barndoor Studge

Subs: Dyer Simpson De Late (Ugh, but only way to afford the midfield)

Walcott is due an EXPLOSION of points one of these days looking at his blistering form. He's been unlucky not to get goals so far, do you think he'd be a good captaining choice this week?

VDV to Bale? (feels a but knee jerky to me)
    Both 4 point?

    Next week Bentner to Ba

    Vorm - (Krul)
    Jones - Enrique - Kompany - (N Taylor) - (De Laet)
    Lampard - Silva - Pilkington - Walters - (Dyer)
    Rooney - RVP (c) - A Johnson

So do I sell lampard for bale and then andy johnson for sturridge? will lampard/sturridge start this weekend? No hit as I have 2 FT

Should I keep rooney or downgrade to hernadez and spend elsewhere for a 4pt hit?

id go johnson for sturridge and keep lampard for a bit, then actually consider vdv not bale as if vdv does well again hes a great differential

    Vorm (Krul)
    Enrique Kompany Walker (Barnett, Boyata)
    Silva VdV Ramsey Allen (Cabaye)
    Sturridge Hernandez van Persie

I'm honestly not sure how to fix it this week. I'd love to get one of Bale or Adebayor to triple up on the Spurs coverage but I don't have enough to get either without making 2 transfers. I'm leaning towards just banking on the free transfer this week and Bale in for GW14, but it's iffy to say the least.
